Way to completely take my statement out of context. You know which mistake I'm referring to. Having the barbecue wasn't the issue. The mistake was having recruits over which weren't allowed to be and all attempts at lying that ensued. You know that just as well as I do.

I'm not minimizing the impermissible phone calls. Stupid? yes. Major violation? No.

Also, what happened at Wisconsin Milwaukee has absolutely nothing to do with our current situation, now does it?

If I'm minimizing, then you guys are far and away overreaching.

I completely agree with that. That is what is most puzzling to me about this season. It's not a trademark of any other team Pearl has fielded while here.

He didn't learn from his mistake at Wisconsin-Milwaukee. What makes you believe he's going to learn from the same mistake at Tennessee?

I have had it too, but I've had it with you so called Vols. Am I disappointed with our performance last night? Yes I was totally embarrassed with it. Am I disappointed with our season so far? Yes I am. But I also realize the value of CBP. This is the coach who took us farther than we ever had been in the NCAA tourny just less than a year ago. Now some morans want to fire him. You guys have so much stuck up your rear ends that you do not realize that we have recruits that review this site and will/do make decisions about how ignorant our fans are and decide to go elsewhere. Be disappointed in our coaches decision, no problem. Be disappointed in our teams and even some players effort to a point of criticising their play, no problem. But to fire a coach that has done so much positive than negative for our program is just ludacris. We were a missed free throw away from being in the final four just 10 months ago. Give the man break, he is a top notch coach.

Nonsense. Only Bruce Pearl could be successful at a school with great facilities, good academic opportunities and recruiting bases in West TN and Georgia...

Keep Pearl. He has a better winning percentage against KY than his predecessors probably all of them. Worth it in my view. I respect you if you want him gone for the lies. But if it is basketball related, then I couldn't disagree more.
