So, where is orergonvol, Champsvol and Eddie Van Halen? They were oh so vocal about Jones and his staff not being able to recruit in the SEC. %crickets%

I underestimated this staff, didn't think they'd get Hurd this early. But, wow. This is why I told my wife I'm naming our new bluetick "Butch"

Kiffin wasn't even sniffing this kind of recruiting success. This is incredible. He's still gotta win ball games, but the wheels of UT football haven't been rolling this fast in a long, long time.

Dang it - I did not want to be optimistic this soon in Butch's employment. I did not want to. I willed myself to stay realistic and I still will be until I see them coached up and what happens on the field. Yet ...

In all seriousness, recruiting was a concern given his name recognition, his background and when CBJ swung for the fences and struck out this class.

Legacy / in-state or not though, CBJ and co are putting in the work to make sure these guys are Vols, and no one can fault that. We can all just celebrate.

Also, despite misgivings how Hart handled Gruden, CBJ >>>>>> the bamboo farmer / Rommel hunter / guru of showering.

I'm just glad to see all the Vols fans happy and optimistic about the program (most all of us anyway)! This is about as much unity as I've seen in the fanbase in a long time...at least since before we got all sideways toward the end with CPF. Great to be a Vol!
