It's just you. CP runs like a piece of knitting yarn being wind blown. You don't know what direction he's going to flap in with his very next step. Jalen runs more like Eric Dickerson. CP = the shortest distance is the longest route you can take. JH = the shortest distance is a straight line even if you have to take a detour.
Adrian Peterson had the 4.3 speed so thats a bad example......
True. But I see this kid continuing to get bigger and ending up in that 6'-4" 250 lb Von Miller type build.
And that would not be a bad thing. He looks like the sterotypical "best, biggest athlete on the team so let's put him at running back" type of player. All the sick physical specimens ran the ball in high school, now they are making a living coming off the edge.
How's 4.37? Is that okay because that's what he ran this past July at a combine. :lolabove:
If that's that case, he is the fastest human being on earth at that size....noone in the NFL combine ran that fast at that size. Bigger and faster than CP, wow! Gotta love hand timed 40's at summer camp, lol.
All kidding aside, he looks plenty fast. Just needs some bend, thats all...
He is plenty fast regardless of whether or not his 40 time is a legit 4.37 or not.
All kidding aside... suggesting that he projects to be a DE or TE is more absurd than a summer combine hand-timed 4.37 40 any day of the week.

was reading a Buckeye board and couple guys on there mentioned Robert Smith, old OSU and Vikings RB. I like that comparison in terms of style more than George.
George wanted to be physical (unless Ray Lewis was involved) while I see Hurd as more of a glider in that Robert Smith/Arian Foster mold.
Most underrated part about Hurd? his vision. Runs with his head up and makes smart cuts to set up blocks, but i've only seen him on YouTube so TIFWIW.
Note: didnt mean to dismiss his ability to be a powerful runner, just think he's a lot more fluid than George.
I like comparison to Eric Dickerson the best. About the same size, very similar running styles- upright glider, quick feet, shifty, speed to burn. Agree with you that George is bad comparison. George was a slow plodding bruiser at the line of scrimmage- only good straight line speed in the open, no shake or much cutting ability.
Galen Hurd reminds Me of a runner who played for North Carolina in the early 80s,Kelvin Bryant(He's a little like Marcus Allen, also,in the way He runs). He runs a little too upright, but that can be corrected. Welcome to Tennessee Galen!
