This staff is definately getting better recruits earlier than the prior coaching sraff. If I were to believe that all the early recruits would end up here, I would give the staff an A+ right now.

Problem is that there are a lot of things that can happen between now and Feb 2014. And every year we always lose one or two of the "locks" that were committed to UT but instead went elsewhere. D. Santos/O. Peters/G. Wright to name a few.........

Boy those two F'ed up !

Have the Chemtrails over Knoxville been laced with Ketamine? Seems like everyone is going a little insane up in here.

A wide receiver or tight end after his first year. He's not an SECOND running back. Too tall, too skinny. Don't believe all the crap about him adding 25-30 lbs. Not true. And if he did, he loses speed. I predict he will be one of those guys who the coaches can't figure out what to do with.

Nope, can't imagine it. Kid fresh out of high school. Get popped once by some jumbo sized SEC lineman and may not want to get off the ground let alone return to the game. But give him a year in S&C and he will run around, through, and over people. I think he's destined for great things but he isn't Hershel Walker or Bo Jackson, those guys were built like Panzer tanks before stepping foot on campus. Jalen is more like a lightly armored personnel carrier. He's 17 and hasn't yet had his cranial eggs scrambled by some steer sized SEC lineman.

So you don't think Hurd would produce behind our o-line? SMH..

Running for 100+ yards while leading the Commodores to victory over the downtrodden Vols for the 3rd year in a row!............I'm kidding......of course.

There he is...always knew this day would come....the comical post from the smartest Vandy kid with down syndrom. Welcome to the board Vandy Corky :hi:

All these people that are worried about the OL Hurd will be running behind need to watch his film and do some research. Beech lost basically their entire line after Hurd's soph year. He's a 1,000 yard SEC back no matter what team he plays for, and no matter what their OL consists of. The dude is that good.

With ya'lls expectations, you're just setting him up for failure. I'm worried for Jalen if it keeps up like this.

I suppose you're right. I will now be expecting nothing but mediocrity from the best runningback that has ever played TN high school football.

You seem to be neglecting the fact that Jalen is 6'3 230 lbs coming out of high school...I think he'll be alright...

I'll be happy if hes just above average. He would stilll be the best RB we've had in 5 years.
