That's what makes me mad about it. He was playing. The other guys that entered this week don't bother me because it doesn't really affect the team's plans. This matters. I have no use for a guy that's going to bail on his team pursuing the ultimate goal.

I get all that, I still don't like it, UNLESS he was told he didn't factor into future plans, I guess. If coaches did tell him that, knowing it would affect their plans, then good on them for being honest about it instead of sticking it to the guy next month.

Well, it’s telling that the photo used to break the story is of him missing a tackle. Every time I noticed him in the game he seemed to not have the fast twitch explosiveness needed for the position at this level. I think he might have been encouraged to look for better opportunities elsewhere. Best of luck to him, hope it works out!
