Question, when portal entry announcements are made are the players immediately removed from player and team activity or are they still part of the team until the decision is made? I would think that their continued involvement with the team would be a conflict of interest kind of deal.

They do, but if they want to enroll at the other school in time to go through Spring Ball, they have to do it before that school’s add/drop deadline. Theoretically if you make the championship, your guys can’t transfer and play Spring Ball

It's up to the coach. Grayson the QB that was at coastal Carolina played in there bowl game and was in the portal.

The NCAA gives you 5 days. I’m not sure schools are held to that same standard. If school starts on 1-9 and you are trying to enroll on 1-28, I don’t think that works usually.

We gotta change the calendar or something. Players should be able to finish the season with their current team even if they transfer and enroll at a different school. Players shouldn't be able to transfer until they complete 2 years at a program or 3 if they redshirt.

That leaves UT with Carter, Perry, Telander, Spillman, Burns, and the 4 LBs signed for 2025 class coming in next season.

100%. Some of these kids see the writing on the wall, and with their ultimate goal being exposure to be drafted one day, it is what it is.
