We won't do anything to the Saudis over this, just like we didn't put them on the travel ban list. We're willing to give other countries a pass on questionable behavior when the relationship otherwise benefits us. Was the way prior to Trump, and no signs that's changing with him at the helm.

We both would have been at the end of very long supply lines. Plus, the infrastructure in Central Europe was in shambles by the time we finished occupying our part and they theirs. I wouldn't want to make any predictions on how that one would end up.

This is probably a dumb question, but...

After we were done with Japan could we have surrounded them and waited out the winter?

Use the Atlantic & Pacific fleets to blockade them to the North & West, then dig in along the Eastern front and wait until the weather warmed?

Could we have used those months to re-build supply lanes and airbases, then attacked at full strength?

I just hope they killed him before they sawed him up. Even an idiot doesn't deserve to die like that.

It is why patton is dead. He didn't want to stop at defeating Germans, he wanted to go after Russia too and was vocal about it.

I can think of a couple of people that should die like that, but a slow painful death.

Was Kashoggi not a journalist? I don't get your 'state actor' point. The fact that the Saudis killed him? And since you "are" a "lawyer" shouldn't you be saying allegedly? Or have they found body parts that I haven't heard about?
