Does trump have business or financial ties that might interfere with an objective assessment of the situation ?

Human right abuses have been happening in the Middle East for centuries. Why do you care how a President handles it now?

I just want to think he handles it based on a policy decision for the country, not a business one for the Trump Organization. You have to admit he has a checkered past on that point throughout his administration.

What is there for him or us as a country to handle? This has absolutely nothing to do with us.

Anyone who asks that question demonstrates that they're obviously not susceptible to any ethical or moral argument on the issue. Typical Republican response--what's in it for me? How does it affect my wallet?

I'm sorry, I had to laugh at YOU talking about morals and ethics. That's just funny.

What options would you want on the table? I mean besides bitching.

So was this guy a U.S. citizen or still a Saudi citizen? If he had U.S. citizenship, then we should absolutely get involved. If he was a Saudi citizen on Saudi soil, then I'm not sure it's an issue for us to deal with. If it happened, it's a horrible circumstance, but we don't need to get involved in the affairs of sovereign nations every time they do something we disapprove of.

"Disapprove of."

Way to minimize. The Saudi government authorized a brutal hit on a political opponent. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Trump shrugs it off as bad for business to get involved. Nor should I be surprised that Trump supporters shrug off the brutal political murder of an Arab.

Just another day over there, right? Ignore it.

Again.

You're right. We should go to war over this. Maybe we can get more American soldiers killed just to satisfy your selective outrage. Just what kind of justice do you think will be served?

If the Saudis had been smart, they'd have sought out Hillary for advice on how to eliminate your opposition by making them suicide themselves.

If the guy is indeed dead.

No, not war. Nice straw man.

How about significant sanctions that target the interests of those in power who were involved in this?

A number of GOP lawmakers have said they support that. Will they crumble under the glare of Trump? I suspect so. They've done it every time so far.

You didn’t have a problem with Hillary making business deals as SOS and packing her Clinton Foundation with foreign money did you?

Sanctions on their oil exports can only serve to increase the demand for US exports of Oil. Isn't that what the Trump admin has wanted for our oil industry, more of a global share of the market? Isn't that the underlying reason to pull out of the Iran deal?

You , I’m sure , must have been terribly worried then when president Barry got caught on a hot mic sending a message to a known killer and world wide terrorist ( putin) that he would have more freedom to work with him after the election was over so it would look like he was putting Putin’s interest over his on countrys interest .... Right?

I think I'm well aware of the human rights abuses that happen in the world. I know they exist. They happen in America too. Let's clean our own backyard first.
Here beheading someone in a public square is unthinkable, in SA it's law for certain crimes. The have their justice and it will never mirror ours. They are a sovereign country, wh can make public or private statements to them but what else could we realistically do if they took a journalist out?

What would you like to see him do?

This is between Turkey and SA.

I don't recall there being any reason to think that Obama was personally benefitting financially by coddling Putin.

There is substantial reason to believe that Trump is acting, or not acting, so as to personally benefit in dealing with Putin, Saudi Arabia, etc. there is further substantial reason to believe that Trump is and has altered US policy as a result of Russia illegally helping him win the presidency, and further that Trump has committed numerous crimes in association with that.

No, she wouldn't. She opens her pie hole almost daily to voice opinion only the LGs of the world want to hear. I don't watch the MSM and even I hear **** coming out of her mouth.
