I have a hard time with the statement that you rarely find cars with an upside down longhorns logo in the entire state. I have driven through the state and I would say the majority of cars did not have that attached to it.

Next, for a while, Cal was really relevant but that doesn't mean that they were a better program than UT.

Lastly, Frankandbeans hasn't recruited to win at a SEC championship level and that is what makes UT fans upset. Not because he recruits better than Alabama. Btw, ask Hurd how well Frankandbeans recruits in the state.

Depends on what part of the state you're in. Closer to the OU, you will see such cars. BUT BUT BUT I too have driven through the state numerous times and VERY rarely see upside down Longhorn decals. Plus in their case and ours the whines, I consider it little more than petty jealousy. We're down and not just Bama and Florida but even Vandy is whipping that orange butt. We're hurt and some spout this petty jealousy. When we're up, we look down our noses in disdain at the same schools. Me? Well, I just say to the opponents, "Enjoy it while you can. We will be back. Then you'll be spouting jealous hatred at us again."

I like that post, but... As far as Vandy goes, the last sentence is misplaced. The upside down T IS jealous hatred. Make no mistake.

Is the Franklin concern a Nashville thing? I hear nothing about this guy in Georgia and the only place I read about him is VN.

I'm sorry but I'm not shaking in my boots over James Franklin and Vandy. I don't care how bad we are, we will beat them a minimum of 7 times over the next 10 years. And that means they're definitely not worth even mentioning. Hell Dooley beat them twice. Dooley.

Nor should you. It's not about if Vandy is a threat to UT... they're not, never have been, never will be over the long haul. It's about the classless prick HC there. Bobby Johnson had some decent success there, went to a bowl game, even beat UT in 2005. I don't remotely recall caring about or disliking the guy whatsoever.
