They have a special. 1K to join then 230 or something a month and then the second 1k due end of Sept. They say its a special. Do you know if that's true? Or is that always the price?

No idea on pricing. It definitely isn't always the price.

Damn good golf played at that joint.

Moving out of the country may never happen. I do have to live here though and may end up here forever. Just not too stoked about how things are going.

And no Pooch. My house is next to my favorite Bunker. Archie.

:)

Do they allow on-course drilling?

If you live near the area and I join your more than welcome to join me for a round. I am not very good though. I'm not kidding. I think I'm the only insurance agent in the world who can't golf. I'm sure if I practice I would get better but I've never taken the time. Anyways, the offer stands.

So your building in a golf course community South of Nashville, but joining a course in Hendersonville North of Nashville.
I would join the corse your living on, your going to have to pay for a social membership in your community anyway

Not counting the weekends when I'm off, I am in North nashville as much as I am in south nashville as much as I am in south kentucky and northen alabama. I normally take 2 hours off each day in the afternoon though before finishing up the night.

My church is in Hendersonville though.

I can understand not loving the over all out look, but instead of talking about running from it. Make it better. One person out there doing good still goes a long way. You might not read about it or see it on the 6 news, but their are still a lot of heros out there.

the montly dues are built in for the golf course and include the swimming pool and security fees.

The heroes all have terrible handicaps. I'll take the losers.

Thats very reasonable..

The course here's idea of a special is allowing you to buy a non equity membership for $25,000 grand and pay it over 10 years vs the equity membership at $40,000 grand paid over 4 years.. Then you still have $350 a month for dues, $100 bucks for a locker, and a $20 dollar cart fee

Sounds like you've already bought you lot, but my reccomendation would be to buy a lot near the tee box..You avoid alot of golf balls in the yard, and if you pick a fairway lot stay on the left side of the fairway from the tee box, more golfer's slice than hook, so that will limit golf balls in the yard

Mine's actually right at the tee box but this is sue to luck as I would not have considered this before hand.

I got the lot from a local builder who needed capital. Paid 35% of the posted asking price.

I dabble with all, but tend back to the ProV1x. The Bridgestone balls are as good any.

Pretty much the same. Srixon (or Sumitomo Rubber Industries) is second in tire production to Bridgestone). Those rubber companies seem to know a little sumthin about core technology, layers, and feel.

This was pointed out on Fox "News" at least 24 hours ago. I'm disapointed it took you so long to parrot the company line on this.

And how do you know this was on Hannity?

Are you cheating on MSNBC?

Looking for better action?

Trust me. Once you go Fox you never go back.

I don't think anyone is saying the President can personally do something to make the situation better, but it shows that he did not learn the lessons of Katrina, gulf oil spill, ect. Bush was savaged in the press for not landing in NOLA even though he had good reason not to. But the press was more concerned with painting him as a detached figurehead rather than an engaged leader. BHO's track record thus far for crisis response is quite underwhelming. He is lucky the press is in the tank for him because if it was anyone else, the outcry would be withering. One would think he'd be getting better political advise given his declining poll numbers.
