Y'all are funny.

Everyone of you will be wearing his jersey and crowning him the first Heisman at UT.

I usually agree with you but I strongly disagree here. Dobbs wasnt perfect but he has potential. He's got a cannon (anticipation and accuracy needs to be tweaked but that will come with experience), he's got legs and foesnt hold the ball for 10 seconds. He's not terrible. He could be a solid QB with another year under his belt

Well we will agree to disagree then.

Wtf they scored like 14 points on us? Pretty sure the defense did their job in that game, along with the run game.

If the run game was so good, why didn't we score more points and have better control of the game? And the fake jump pass play that won the game for them was one of the ugliest, most busted defensive plays ever... Just saying.

It was more of a poor offensive game plan than Dobbs' faults at Qb

How do you say his name? Jauan? It's like his parent rolled a bad hand at scrabble.

Yeah, was all his fault. Our stellar rushing attack and championship caliber defense helped a lot to keep us in that game, though.

Certainly was not all his fault. Plenty to go around but 17 yds for most of the game is unbelievable. I was willing to consider most of the teams he went against were very good and those losses were excusable but the Vandy game I just do not see the potential for a top notch SEC quarterback. Just my opinion.

Peterman, slow at making his decisions

Think Dobbs is here for the long haul, think education is more important to him than football, but I may be wrong.

Couldn't agree more. I don't think Dobbs will pan out like we had hoped, but he'll stay because education is more important to him. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Booooommmm!!!

Not enough of this in this thread.

Sorry, but Dobbs does not have a cannon arm.

I know you like the kid, but don't you think that statement is a little much?

You took my statement out of context.

I'm saying he will be good and all the naysayers will go in the complete opposite direction.

Was totally being sarcastic. Our team lost that game, not just Dobbs.

Out of context?

I see no sign of sarcasm, and you implied that a kid who has played QB for 1 season will be a heisman winner in the future. Maybe you didnt mean it literally, but that isnt how I read it.

probably because that's what naysayers do by definition.

People who have a different opinion aren't idiots no matter what you think of him. Categorizing a whole group of people based on a couple of comments is a dangerous thing

I'm hoping he will be a rangy FS in the mold of 3-time Pro Bowler, 6'4" Gary Barbaro. GB actually started out as a QB at Nichols St. before switching to the defensive backfield.

No, I want you to own up to saying a kid who has played 1 season at QB is a future Heisman winner. IMO you know the kid, so you feel a special connection to his recruitment and success. You are using the warm feeling in your heart to try to make "naysayers" look dumb.
