Agreed. But if you've ever been around this kinda thing, the felony aspect of this is troubling.

Sure, people get overcharged all the time but just search Knox Cty for felony aggravated assault. They don't just charge every drunken student altercation as a felony.

I'm not even saying Jaylan didn't behave like you or I would..... go get the man who is drunk and annoying and whip some ass, but there's limits to an ass whooping. Beyond those limits, there's a felony.

We actually don't know that. We know that she helped Zion get up after he was unconscious but we don't know where she was when the alleged assault took place as its not mentioned in the warrant and neither the officers nor her gave a statement about it.

Just going off what our local media guys are saying. I’m assuming they would know more and seeing how Rucker reacted tells me this will likely be dropped.

Felony comes into play with broken bones according to the T.C.A. so knocking teeth out is likely included under that. If the teeth popped the jaw may be fractured.

Early this season, I forget the lineman's name who pushed his gf around and kicked her backpack or whatever it was..... on video in Stokley, I think.

That guy was something like 6'6" and 330lbs, and I seriously doubt the woman was anywhere near that, so a shove from an offensive lineman to a woman doesn't produce a felony. Likely, he stopped.

Likely Jaylan McCullough didn't stop after a one hitter quitter and bloodied his own hand punching the guy repeatedly when he was down.

I'm not judging what I might've also done in some situations but I'm not gonna play Saturday for any reputable coach if that's true.
