Dude is still hanging on to the "there were witnesses" talking point when we don't know that. Nowhere in the warrant does it state Jaylen's gf or the unidentified male were in the apt with Jaylen when the alleged incident took place.

That the gf found him and was trying to help indicates that she likely followed Jaylan who likely followed this guy outside and whipped his ass.

All these folks saying "Prove it was Jaylan" are just trying to get a player off the hook. Jaylan's hand is bloody, this other guy is knocked the F out, and Jaylan's gf just happens by..... to try to help the guy.

C'mon. Just c'mon. What kind of program do you think TN is to tolerate this?

That guy was something like 6'6" and 330lbs, and I seriously doubt the woman was anywhere near that, so a shove from an offensive lineman to a woman doesn't produce a felony. Likely, he stopped.

Likely Jaylan McCullough didn't stop after a one hitter quitter and bloodied his own hand punching the guy repeatedly when he was down.

I'm not judging what I might've also done in some situations but I'm not gonna play Saturday for any reputable coach if that's true.

Skin on the hand bleeds easily, especially when knuckles connect with teeth and it only takes one good direct pop in the chops from someone in decent physical shape to do it.

It’s pretty gross but they even did it with the 2 domestic assault players earlier this year. One was even on camera and some still couldn’t accept it.

To tolerate a man defending his home? To tolerate a man to protect his girlfriend?

It’s not to get Jaylen off the hook. The story has several holes in it. Jaylen has been overcharged and I can about guarantee this will be dropped.

Or it could be just as likely that her and the unidentified male walked up on Zion after he had passed out. Like I said, if it was Jaylen and it happened exactly as the warrant described, then throw the book at him, but if there's more to it, we need to know before we throw said book. Its not about just trying to get a player off the hook. Its about not assuming guilt when only the word of a drunken college student is presented.

If Jaylen's gf was in the apt (there's nothing that says she was), dude may have in a drunken stupor tried to do something to her. We don't know the full details.

I think we all believe that part to be true but what we don’t know is if it was justified under the law in an act to protect him or any of his belongings. Thats the only thing that would clear him. We can’t take words from a drunk alleged victim and throw Jaylen under the bus just like we can’t completely say Jaylen was justified in his actions.

The man was found outside the home. The reports said he left. The gf found him outside.

You're not defending your property if someone leaves and you follow them.

I would hope we have better police officers/detectives than that if any of that were the case and not swiftly arrest and charge him.

We don't know that Jaylen actually followed him outside and punched him outside. For all we know he was punched inside after being the aggressor and was followed out to make sure he left or he didn't follow at all. All we know is what's alleged by one drunken college student.

You have high hope for Police officers who are trained in DV and similar senarios to just arrest the person who looks less banged up.

Isn't it clear he was out of the residence? I believe he was found outside.

If the guy came in, then left...... how is he a threat if the Jaylan and his gf stay inside?

I would assume so because people of his type tend to be a little mouthy but it still wouldn’t justify Jaylen’s actions. Would need to be more.

I'm unsure how far away this guy was but these attempts to justify this get weirder and weirder.

Drunk people never stagger and collapse in weird spots. Its definitely a stretch to think that after being punched in the face, he staggered out the door and fell down the stairs while being drunk and punched.....

dude its not a stretch at all to believe that. I'm not saying that's what happened. I'm just saying let's not rush to take the words of a self professed Drunken College student who was so drunk he went to the wrong building.
