I still want Pinkston, but signing him became a lot less critical with the signing of Harris.

Pinkston doesn't need to shy away from a little competition. There is plenty of play time to share. We have two more spots. I know we were expected to only take four, but Pinkston & Selby come on down!

We still very much need Pinkston. Next season we will have Brian Williams, Kenny Hall, and Tobias Harris for the 4 and 5 spots. I'd assume Woolridge will also be worked in at the 4. There is definitely plenty of room for Pinkston in the rotation.

Did you ask him if he was scared?

There is more to this Tobias Harris situation than most people realize. Try to not bash JayVaughn just because he is choosing to play his college ball somewhere other than Tennessee. He's a good kid, and he has a bright future.

I have no problems with the kid. My thing is he's scared to come and play here after Harris committed. What other reason than he said that he was going to announce then as soon as he found out Harris was announcing he all of the sudden changed his mind.

I honestly have no problem with the kid.....but by reading his twitter posts, I wouldn't exactly say that he was a "good kid", but that's just me.

We got the better prospect. Oh well, I'm not losing any sleep over this.

JayVaughn's Twitter page gives zero insight into what type of person he is. The only thing you might learn from those posts is that he tends to curse... often. However, that doesn't mean someone isn't a good kid.

don't want him now that we have tobias

Yessss... yes, we doooo want him! Pinkston was said to be the "best player in New York City" and that is no easy feat! Plus we will have huge gaps in the rotation next year with all the seniors leaving! Just because we got Tobias doesn't mean we need to to get arrogant like our neighbors to the north!

Pinkston was originally scheduled to make his college commitment before the Fall deadline but abruptly canceled the announcement. It was widely speculated that Pinkston was going to choose Tennessee. Asked whether or not Tobias Harris committing to TN effected Pinkston's final decision, Young responded, "That's a better question for Tennessee."

hmmmm, I wonder what to make of that? I wonder if they're implying CBP might have misled them on the fact that he was the only PF UT would take? Intriguing....
