CNN was on life support pre-Trump, 2016-20 threw them a lifeline, now they are back on life support. CNN and cable news generally badly, badly wanted Trump to be re-elected.

Agree, only MSNBC is using the Trump well to hang onto a distant second place in the ratings. January 6th is the gift that keeps them going.

I was changing TV channels the other day & stopped on one of those Trump hating stations to see what was the topic ..... Trump, Trump, Trump. There's never a negative word spoken about the terrible & horrible Democratic leadership whose now sitting in the Oval WH.

That's the beauty of their audience falling for it. No need to discuss two cops shot in your city, inflation, poll numbers sinking, gas prices up or any other topic that might show you care about everyday citizens. When in doubt or have dead space, bring up Trump, Trump voters, Trump leading the charge in Jan 6th, Trump rallies etc. Don't talk about Biden, Hunter Biden or hold to the same standard as Russian Collusion or Impeachment Hearings

Stelter looking around knowing he will be fired for ratings and not emails. They’ll hold onto Acosta to balance Hannity/Tucker in one but limit his personal hate to increase viewers.

Female CNN staff furious Allison Gollust still has a job after Jeff Zucker affair

Female employees at CNN are furious that chief spokesperson Allison Gollust is keeping her job after lying about her affair with newly resigned CEO Jeff Zucker “for years,” sources told The Post.

“Why is she allowed to keep her job, when she was promoted while sleeping with the boss?” a CNN insider railed.

“CNN is supposed to be a transparent news network. How does she get away with lying about their affair for so long?”

Gollust released a statement shortly after saying that she and Zucker had been professional colleagues for over 20 years but their relationship “changed during COVID.”

One insider called the comments “a total lie.”
