- Leaked audio from a company meeting reveals that anchor Jake Tapper accused Kilar of furthering the appearance that Zucker was forced out by Chris Cuomo
- Tapper alleged it could be 'perceived' that Zucker lost his job by refusing to pay 'terrorist' Cuomo the $18million remaining on his contract

Anchor Jake Tapper demanded WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar address the 'perception' that Zucker lost his job by refusing to pay 'terrorist' Chris Cuomo the $18million remaining on his contract.
Cuomo, determined to get his money, is still threatening a lawsuit against the network that is rooted in allegations Gollust and Zucker were inappropriately close with his brother Andrew as well.
To stave off that lawsuit - and more potential scandal - CNN is now reportedly considering giving him half - $9million.
It has also been claimed that a top shareholder at Discovery, Trump-donor John Malone, insisted on Zucker's departure.
Malone has made no secret of his disdain for how left-wing CNN has become and how he wanted to 'restore' it to its old style of journalism before Discovery inherited it. When he learned of the affair, he said
Chief Domestic Correspondent Jim Acosta also weighed in, alleging the network's core content and values will likely devolve in the wake of Zucker's resignation, forcing CNN to face 'pretty serious consequences.'
Jeff Zucker's girlfriend, Allison Gollust, is shown arriving home on Thursday night. She will keep her job at CNN
Outside CNN, media insiders say there is 'more to come'.
Former FOX News host Megyn Kelly said on Eric Bolling's Newsmax show Wednesday night: 'There will be more shoes to drop. Mark my words. Nothing I can report to you now, but mark my words: there are more shoes to drop.'
Reporters Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy, a business reporter, also penned an article Wednesday night that reveres Zucker as their 'leader', to whom they still pledge loyalty, and shames Kilar.
