Jeremy Banks day 1 pick?

Yeah we should be celebrating a guy who acted like a child and disrupted our locker room and cost us a chance at the playoffs. I mean you make it sound like making the all combine team is a big deal. It’s not.

What is sad is his character is far superior to some nega-VOLS on social media that scream class and can’t even spell it. At least he is not repetitive with his transgressions.

To his credit, he does always find new and exciting ways to do stupid things. What I worry about (and I'm sure some NFL execs agree) is what he will do when he doesn't have people watching over his every move anymore. Give him lots of money and set him loose? I wouldn't trust him.

I do think the buzz about the USCe game did JB no favors.
Did we hear about his intelligence and decision-making test scores at the Combine?

I apologize if I missed it, but I would REALLY like to know, if it is known.

The BIG elephant in the room at NFL front office conversations about JB is the fact the stories about JB's connection to the meltdown in Columbia, SC was not his first rodeo with making bad choices. He had two incidences making just terrible choices that affected the program.

This cat is
6'1 232 lbs
4.5 - 40
37.5 vertical
25 reps of 225 (400 lbs eq)
Had over 200 career tackles
9 sacks
4 Ints

All around production and physical testing puts him as ones of the most skilled LBs to ever play at UT.
If you don't agree, looks at Al Wilson's and Jerrod Mayos to compare.
Talented ball player and I appreciate him, but he’s got to grow up to fulfill his potential

He's is repetitive with his transgressions. And a fan shouldn't be held to the same standard as an actual member of the team. Good lord.

You can't name one LBer that is excellent in coverage.
so the only valid point you have is the character stuff for which he's been documented as remedying.

He did get invited to a SR all-star game and the NFL Combine.

Undrafted?? That's hilarious!

This aged well. Turns out a head case with some physical limitations isn’t considered a draft worthy prospect. Who would have thought?

If the kid has really changed and matured then Banks will get a chance. If the arrest had never occurred, would he of been a 4-5th round guy anyways? I would think yes after his combine potentially. Trash talk aside—is Banks >Henry T?

I usually wish for the best for former Vols, but I can't help but root against Jeremy Banks for his shenanigans that may have cost us a spot in the CFP. Unfortunately, he signed with TB

Meh, it’s unfortunate that he was the leader of that defense in the first place. Played with a lot of heart in game just was an idiot with a twisted view of what was “owed” to him. Hope the guy matures and learns what’s important in life. Just can’t really root against some of these kids, some guys just mature slower and don’t get it right away.

Right. If the honey badger can grow up and mature, then Banks could, too.
