Jeremy Banks

Does he have any eligibility left? Also USC while up and down still finished 8-4 with wins over 2 top 8 opponents in consecutive weeks

Also remember folks, I wasn't alone in not really wanting the JH hire. But unlike this unimaginative guy ^ thereafter got behind JH because when all was said and done, he was our HC. And that was that. Now, certain creatures like this guy ^ can't and never will be able to understand that. I just wish him to know that....

There will be peace in Neyland for some day
There will be peace in Neyland I pray
There'll be no sadness, no sorrow, no trouble I see

There will be peace in Neyland some day

Basically, you are saying you are ok to be critical but others are not. If there's any player that fans have a right to criticize, it's Banks. From the police incident(seems you are ok with it) to the locker room dust up.

Ultimately, it’s the coaches who let this stew and boil over. Local station asked one of our coaches about the importance of re-recruiting players with the transfer portal, and he seemed completely oblivious to the idea. Not good IMO. I think you’ll see a very fluid roster in the off season.

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but at one point in the game Banks made a hit on a ball carrier, they both went low and it was a helmet to helmet hit. One of the refs said something to him, I would assume telling him that was close to targeting and don't lead with your head. The very next play Banks made a tackle like a missile with his head up and blasted the dude out of bounds. Great hit and tackle.

By all means, Mr. Perfect, never did anything wrong, or caused a bit of misfortune for anyopne else, feel free to root for another team. Another state, another country, heil, another planet, I recommend Arcadia. Here's your transport.
He's done several things. Not just one. So second chance has come and gone. I can say what I want. And arcadia is a nice senior citizen living community where I'm from. Maybe one day I'm there. So that was sweet.

Saw that. He actually spoke and then came back and said something else.

This. Vandy had a play on their first or 2nd drive around their 40 that went for 10 yards because Banks had zero idea where the ball was. He literally vacated the gaping hole where the play was designed to go just to run over and pop a TE.

I know PFF isn’t the end all be all but he does this constantly and it’s a major reason he is graded so poorly as a LB. He compiles plenty of tackling stats (which is a terrible measure for gauging good defensive play) and I applaud him for never shying away from contact but the fact that he is our best LB shows how awful that position group really is.

Yep. Part of the reason he is running so hard to the ball is from being out of position.

Folks like you taught me long ago to not try to discourse with someone who prefers to twist people's words into biased detour routes. Especially when by doing nothing else except rehashing their personal excuses for arguing for the sake of arguing. I encourage you to continue driving on the route you have chosen. You're good at intentionally driving into detours.

And you are very good at avoiding the subject. A sure sign that you are wrong

Jeremy has the on switch and he comes out mean. It sets the tone for the rest of the defense, particularly the linebackers and the d line.

As clearly in my post, I stated the Arcadia I referred is a planet, used for dumping trash. I even provided a link to stress that point. And it was pointed at your buddy(?) Vol 30, not you. JFYI.

What's a link? I believe a links is a bigger cat in the wild, correct? I think momma used to run them off our front porch with a broom.

But the Banks haters who want him gone, who say he had his second chance and all, they...they...they....
I won't ever forget he was at the heart of the dust up---the confrontation with Hooker, the stomping on the T, not showing up for practice or being asked to stay home---that's all on him. That exhibition of immaturity cost the whole team a shot at making the CFP

He was everywhere tonight. Almost had a couple of picks. Wish he got one, but great game regardless.
He has hands of stone it seems. He’s missed a lot of interceptions this year. I’d love to see him get one then truck the qb as he goes in for a pick six.
