Jeremy Banks

You still exist????? I was all but certain you'd been abducted by the Kaiju from planet Arcadia and fed to their pet Xenomorph. How did you survive and escape? Do you still have all your anatomical parts? Are either the Kaiju or Xenomorph still looking for you? Is that sauce or blood dripping from mouth and fingers? No, no, no need to taste it first, I will just assume it's something smelly that was frightened out of you during your escape.

Avoiding again. You're good at it. You ever have an adult conversation?

I know you think you sound intelligent, but it's the total opposite.

Might have made a difference last week...
Talent wise? No. Accountability though? Yeah probably. Need a leader on the field and someone that’s going to hold players accountable. We still have a ways to go culture wise bc someone should’ve stepped up when banks was out to fill that role. Never seen such negative energy from the beginning to the end out of some players.

A big portion of our fan base wants to turn SC into a good team because they destroyed us. They are not a good team. They are a bad team. It was a bad loss in which we got destroyed by a bad team. It happens.

Which is why the AP poll has them at 20. Obviously they are one of the worst!

And it probably takes their crowd out of the game as well similar to how the opening kickoff at LSU took that crowd out.

Perhaps if we took the ball and scored first it might have changed the game. With this offense, we should never defer when on the road.

He really may have made a difference for USCjr. He's the Al Wilson of this defense. Enforcer in the run game and pass game. Has been all year.
I know some still hold on to his off field and in field lack of discipline(1st 3 years). And I get that. But, the NFL is gonna love this guy. He is the heart and soul of that D.

Being that Banks is our best LB shows we need a serious upgrade across the board at LB position too. Beasley has played okay in spurts but not impressed with Mitchell at all. Herring and Perry just not enough time on the field to know.
Mitchell has a bad leg and can't run very well...

Based on reports he needed to hold himself accountable.

He's the Al Wilson of this defense.
Ok there's hyperbole and then there's this. Let's not go overboard since there's no way 27 fails to make a road game if healthy

The man was all over the field bama game. He played so dang hard that day.

Hopefully he feels remorse about the cocks game… even at the time he was still so angry. Hopefully he would’ve change course if he knew what was going to ensue that night.

His little bit of insanity as well as hard headedness and temper is probably part of what makes him the alpha player that he is. MLB is a hell of a hard position to play.

Unfortunately it seems with him you can’t have Jekyll without Hyde. He’s gotten better at controlling it over his career, but it’s still there.

I didn't compare the two. I said he leads this defense the same way Al Wilson led the 98 defense. This defense is not near as good as the 98 defense. The leadership can still be the same though. Reading comprehension is not your strongest subject I see.

I'm sorry I forgot the part where Al childishly sat out the Arkansas game in 98 just as Banks missed the SC game. There are zero similarities between Al and Banks.... None

If someone with NIL Money realizes his importance a few weeks earlier and pays the man what he’s worth maybe the whole incident doesn’t happen

Some folks just won’t admit when they’re wrong. Truth is SC is playing good football right now and Rattler is actually playing at his potential finally.
They played well against a vanilla UT defense who looked like they would rather have been anywhere else. Rattler is average and UT should have handled sc like a Mizzou or UK. That loss needs an explanation

Am I really reading all of this criticism of Jeremy Banks as a person and player? He is a fiery young man from a rough background who made mistakes early in his career, got a chance at redemption and ran with it. He had been a huge bright spot on defense, the emotional leader on that side of the ball and our best LB for the last 2 years (and only good LB last year). He is a VFL who has left everything on the field and given max effort in turning our program around and helping set up our program for the best season in decades and future success.

Is VolNation seriously turning on him over rumors that he walked across the locker room, stepped on the T and then took exception to being told what to do by our offensive leader? Nobody knows if all that is factual and, if it is, whether Hooker was in the right in how he approached Banks. This is ridiculous. Banks changed positions, learned and became all-SEC caliber at his new position, earned his way back onto the team and stuck around after the coach that recruited him left. He has earned his VFL card and then some and helped us beat Bama, LSU and UF. Is everyone forgetting that Jennings was also a fiery leader with an attitude who got kicked off the team and ended up a Vol legend? You think Al Wilson was a choir boy? I refuse to lay the SC loss solely at Bank's feet....it's not like our offense played great in that game either. Also, the offense and defense are seperate teams within the team and have their own leaders and hierarchy separate from the offense. Some of yous are ridiculous!

I believe they are 8-4 playing in the SEC east. They beat us and Clemson, two top ten teams. That isn't bad.

But the Banks haters who want him gone, who say he had his second chance and all, they...they...they....
Appreciate Banks' contributions but will be glad when he's gone. Don't talk smack to Hendo and don't talk smack to cops—such a thug. Hope he makes it in the pros... or not.

You are dealing with the biggest dbag on here. That includes the political forum. Pompous. Smarmy. Thinks he's smarter then he is. Delusional. Waste of time with him.
