Right now nba draft net has maymon as a 2nd round pick in next years draft, and yes this does include underclassmen declaring.

Here was CCM's thoughts on jeronne being projected as a 2nd rounder..."That's an insult. He's better than that."

Thoughts?

IMO I think too many people are putting too much into his height and saying thatll keep him out. I can see him being a late 1st rounder to mid 2nd round with a good season.

They think he's too short to play the four in the NBA and too slow to play the three.. I think he'll be just fine

He's a Draymond Green, Dejuan Blair type of player. He'll go in the Late first or 2nd Round.

i guess it will depend on what kind of season he has next year. i really believe he needs to lose just a little weight. with a new s and c coach, maybe he could lose some and gain some quickness which would help him in the long run. a real good season and yeah he could be a late 1st round pick.

Developing that mid range J and even better that top of the key 3, would really help him out too.

im with ccm on this its an insult he is way better than that im hoping we get one more year "after next" out of him and stokes we would be virtually impenetrable down low.

Undrafted unless he expands his game. He can bang inside with any one big man but in the NBA there are at times four that are taller and longer than him. He will be in foul trouble and not be able to score with his current game.

I just can't see him in the NBA right now. I know I go back to him a lot, but Chism was a better player than Maymon at this point in their careers and had a good run to finish his senior season and still didn't get drafted. You can take all of Chism's "weaknesses" and subtract 2 inches of height and you get Maymon. Maymon might have a better handle but that would be it.

IMO, you hit the nail on the head. I don't see him being drafted period, unless he becomes consistent on the first, and improves somewhat in the second area as well.

Saw a player that reminded me of Maymon the other night. Don't watch much NBA. I think it Jeff Green? But Maymon has better offensive ability. I think that was his name, but could be mistaken. Dude couldn't shoot ft's.

Too short! Charles Barkley would be lucky to be 6,5 but he had the hops to get it done.If Maymon improves i would think he could play.Because in my opinion he is as good as alot of the jokers who have been drafted in both rounds the last three to five years and who are now playing. But the association makes me sick anymore,i actually hate to watch that so called pro ball anymore.I have not been able to watch an entire game this year and only watched a few regular season and six playoff games last year. The nba HAS TURNED INTO A JOKE IMO.Some guys making 10 million a year for getting 6 points and 6 rebounds a game and some do worse.

Did you really just compare Maymon to Charles Barkley?

How many times did Chism drop 30 and 20?

How many times has that happened in the NBA this season for that matter? (Kevin Love has over half of them or all of them I'd wager)

If Maymon can be a walking double double on a good college team, he will get drafted or signed somewhere. Especially with a good work out or an improved outside game.

Maymon had one single game, that went to double OT, where he played out of his mind. But on the whole Chism was better at the end of his Junior year.

I think he has the physical presence to be a late first round early second. However, he has got to work on his hands, passing and quickness to break higher than a late second.
