Your point is that people can change ... and we are too unforgiving as a society of people who have changed. It should also be said that this could just be a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The picture doesn't prove anything about his character.

Seriously, there are so many things to be critical of Jerry Jones for. He will always be the owner who fired his head coach/GM after winning back to back Super Bowls... just because he wanted more credit for the team's success.

JJ hasn't had a stellar track record when it comes to not being a racist.

I remember when he tried to ride the BLM train with an interlocking arms stunt that rivaled the lacking authenticity of Michael Jackson kissing Lisa Marie Pressly at that one awards show.

I don't even know who Ralph Northam is and I don't like Trudeau. Who here would have argued with me if I had said, "not a good look"? Who here defended him and said he didn't have to answer for anything?

I remember when Jackson attempted to kiss LMP. It was Awkward AF. I really don’t know if Jones is racist but Jones has done a lot of good for black people.

Your defending the morons that are going after him. Guilty by association. If you weren't sympathetic to it, you'd be calling out those morons instead of giving it legitimacy.

He might be the world's most passionate racist. I really don't know. I don't think there have been any stories of racism about JJ in the media. That would be a feat considering he's been a public figure for 34 years. But, it certainly possible to hide our disgusting traits from others and JJ may be accomplished at that..

I agree with much in your post. Especially condemning JJ for stupid decisions. And, even though it needed to happen, the way he dismissed Tom Landry who, in my mind, is a class act, is incriminating by itself.

My point is bigger than "people can change". It is an element of my point, though. My larger point is the sum or our choices is more defining than the circumstances of our birth. Children do not choose their parents. Children are also very inclined to adopt their parents belief system. If a child born into a racist culture turns away from that culture when they are able to make their own choices, that is more noble an act than the child who was never racist to begin with because of the circumstances of their birth being born into a non-racist family. Additionally, people who have turned away from one lifestyle and adopted another tend to be the most zealous folks championing the new lifestyle.
