Your point is that people can change ... and we are too unforgiving as a society of people who have changed. It should also be said that this could just be a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The picture doesn't prove anything about his character.Let's say JJ was a devout racist at 14. Is he still one today?
Is a man better because he improved himself or better because he never had anything to improve?

I wonder if Huff went after Trudeau or Ralph Northam with the same vigor?
I remember when Jackson attempted to kiss LMP. It was Awkward AF. I really don’t know if Jones is racist but Jones has done a lot of good for black people.JJ hasn't had a stellar track record when it comes to not being a racist.
I remember when he tried to ride the BLM train with an interlocking arms stunt that rivaled the lacking authenticity of Michael Jackson kissing Lisa Marie Pressly at that one awards show.
Your defending the morons that are going after him. Guilty by association. If you weren't sympathetic to it, you'd be calling out those morons instead of giving it legitimacy. What vigor? I haven't gone after JJ.
I don't even know who Ralph Northam is and I don't like Trudeau. Who here would have argued with me if I had said, "not a good look"? Who here defended him and said he didn't have to answer for anything?
You guys are the hypocrites and frauds. I'm consistent.
He might be the world's most passionate racist. I really don't know. I don't think there have been any stories of racism about JJ in the media. That would be a feat considering he's been a public figure for 34 years. But, it certainly possible to hide our disgusting traits from others and JJ may be accomplished at that..JJ hasn't had a stellar track record when it comes to not being a racist.

Post acknowledged without agreement.I think I get the idea, I just don't necessarily agree with it. Of course, the former Klan member has come a long way and the guy who "never had anything to improve" is probably lying or has a blind spot anyway, so that person both (a) didn't improve and (b) doesn't even have the self-awareness to realize it.
Having said that, as a black person, let me hang out with the guy who was never in the Klan, haha. The other side of the coin from the above paragraph is that the people talking about how "reformed" the Klan member is often aren't the same people that were targets of his hatred. It can easily be more akin to his buddies patting him on the back, and the "improved" person turns out to be not so improved after all
I agree with much in your post. Especially condemning JJ for stupid decisions. And, even though it needed to happen, the way he dismissed Tom Landry who, in my mind, is a class act, is incriminating by itself.Your point is that people can change ... and we are too unforgiving as a society of people who have changed. Seriously, there are so many things to be critical of Jerry Jones for. He will always be the owner who fired his head coach/GM after winning back to back Super Bowls... just because he wanted more credit for the team's success.

How have I defended them?
Did you guys all get together and decide it's just all gonna be lies about me ITT? WTF is happening?
You called me a clown and have responded to the same post now 2x, and it's pretty clear you don't understand my position.
I have not said anything bad about Jerry Jones in relation to this photo. I am just saying it doesn't look good on the surface. I am not saying those people would be right. I am saying Jerry Jones doesn't want these problems.
Try as I might, I can't get any of that through the thick skull of the man who is calling me a clown.
