And the 1st minor infraction the NCAA lowers the hammer of god on the program. There is no way UT can afford to take that chance. You think things are bad now? You let that happen and you'll never see this program back on track in your entire lifetime.

What else worse was there? Im not trying to mock you. I just really would like to know. From everything I remember about the situation, he basically just covered up the fact that his guys got free tattoos and a few other items.

This was proven with the way the NCAA handled the UNC fiasco - they were giving grades away to football players for a class that DIDN'T EXIST! For over ten years!

A school can corrupt the core essence of the student-athlete like that, and the NCAA gives them only a slap on the wrist. But have a student sell his jersey for gas money or for a fugly tattoo, the NCAA will try to shut the team down.

Apparently not.. they've all turned him down. Him and his information nobody else has bullsh!t. No wonder he got fired from fsu. Somebody remind me why the hell we hired him?

I would be very surprised if Tressel was offered the job given his NCAA baggage and our own issues with the NCAA. I think he is a good coach and would love to have him under different circumstances.

Even though this dip**** strategy didn't work for OSU and their bowl ban, and even though Tressel is the one who got them into that mess to begin with, we should be allowed to hire Tressel because our program is an embarrassment and an effing dumpster fire.

Knowingly allowed numerous ineligible players to play all season. Lied about it, covered it up and finally admitted to it when he couldn't lie his way out of it any longer.

He is our best option. He would win and win big here, now he would have a 5 game suspension but at this point I would take him over all the options except Gruden. Since most of our top coaching options out there have rejected us there is only one more guy that can win. It is Tressel. I promise he would win big here. HIRE TRESSEL! :hi:
