I agree, Make the call Hart and sign him up I guess...He and Petrino and Butch Davis are our only options left...If He hires that WKU coach I am done with them...That is suicide

This hate for Tressel is ridiculous. Correct me if I am wrong, but all he did was cover up the fact that his players received free tattoos. Cmon man! He is a great coach not a cheater.

I'd take him, his baggage and his 229-79-2 record, ten straight bowl appearances and a NC. If we end up with some Dooley2.0 I bet some anti-Tressel folks will be wishing otherwise.

Tressell has a show cause against him. We'd hire a coach from a pee wee league before we'd hire him. Won't happen.

Wouldn't worry about the show-cause... we have an easy way to "show our cause"....

Dear NCAA,

We should be allowed to hire Tressel because our program is an embarrassment and an effing dumpster fire.

At this point I'd be okay with it. Hell every other coach has turned us down. It's Tres or Dolley v2....... Which would yall rather have.

At this point, I'm not sure Hart is even in charge. Why did Cheek meet with Strong but not Hart? I agree though that Tressel needs to be approached. We should have already made preliminary contact with his agent if whoever is in charge planned for this scenario.

I thought all that meant is that he would be suspended the first 5 games and we couldn't do a bowl the first year.

Would be a small price to pay for a top tier coach.

While I'd love to have Tressel, my source said the problem is that "if he's hired by UT and one of his GA's happens to send too many texts to a recruit, the NCAA will take 50 scholarships away from UT in an instant..."

If someone can link it, there is an awesome article on why Akron should make him an offer....

Ask anyone a few years ago to name the top five coaches in the country, and he would be on almost every list with Meyer, Saban and Stoops

This has been repeated several times on here. The show cause basically calls for a 5 game ban for tressel and a bowl ban. Even with him on the sidelines, our first five games next year will end up 3-2. As for the bowl ban, I am more than willing to give up a blah blah blah.com bowl next year for much January bowls in the following years.

The NCAA is a freakin joke. The conferences need to boycott their bullcrap.
