How are buckeye fans gonna handle this one? lol Specially the ones who've swore up and down to me he'll be there no matter what cause he didn't do anything wrong. Those are some lunatic fans.

Robert Smith just dropped Urban's name as a possible replacement

Good thing ESPN has a couple of OSU Alums around to talk about this for the next 2 weeks. I am already tired of the clip of him standing in the tunnel. The man can chew some gum too.

This was the inevitable end to this story. It had to happen. What is wild to me is how the OSU fans were so oblivious to it. They had no belief whatsoever that the events that happened could turn into this. I guess that was how I started off with Pearl, until I spoke to people and got a better idea of how it would have to play out......just like this.

He could have played it out like Pearl and gone out with a thirty point loss to Michigan as well.

How long before Urban Meyer is announced as OSU's new coach?

I'll be glad to have the guy out of the SEC...but I really want OSU to have to go through some bad years before they get an all-star.

The thing is that the university will probably not face all that tough of sanctions because Tressel overtly by-passed every check they had in place. Unfortunately, this means that they may be able to go out and get a great coach right away.

Nice...the parallels would have been uncanny then....

Him being fired or resigning was still going to be the end, though. I am quite impressed that the OSU fans kept up the act as long as they did...surely they weren't that naive?

They still defend him as if what he done wasn't that bad. I guess if you wear a sweater vest you are such a moral man. Momma said you can't judge a book by its cover! Well deserved!
