Is it a coincidence that the NCAA rejects the USC appeal a few days before this happened? I'm thinking that someone at tOSU may have seen the handwriting on the wall and applied some pressure maybe...

That will probably be one of the few games (or only game?) that the NCAA doesn't make them forfeit. OSU delcared the players ineligible for that game and then the NCAA reinstated them. That one probably stands. The others could as well..not sure.

How about all of the Pearl fans who whined that Pearl was being unjustly fired while nothing would happen to Tressel? Those are some lunatics.

The thing is that the university will probably not face all that tough of sanctions because Tressel overtly by-passed every check they had in place. Unfortunately, this means that they may be able to go out and get a great coach right away.

I don't think Urban takes it.

1. Sanctions on the horizon
2. No Mullen, Strong, or Tebow. The last season he was at Florida without some form of that trio it didn't work out to well.

He will say he isn't taking the job because of his family.

JMO.

Won't happen, or at least, if approached he won't consider it unless he get an even bigger payday then he does now. Even then, if approached he may use it to get an increase from the Bammers.

Work with a guy who is a huge bammer fan. He's married to a girl whose whole family is osu fans. Maybe I'll text him and tell him tressel is out and an insider says saban deal is in the works.

Maybe the Tennessee, Florida, and Auburn could throw in a million bucks or so to get Saban out of Tuscaloosa.
