Jimbo Is Losing Control of His Program

I still think Jimbo can be successful at Texas A&M, especially with an extended playoff coming soon. But here's the big question that usually doesn't get answered the right way.

Can you get the big ego coach to give up play calling duties? Because if you can't, then it probably won't end well.

After Ole Miss beats them today will Jimbo get his walking papers and a truck full of cash?

I would say when they get beat by Ole Miss, Jimbo better walk a very straight line and hope none of his players mess up. I’m guessing A&M are looking for a reason to fire him.
With the absurd amount of his buyout, you know they are looking at a "for cause" dismissal. ;)

A&M is finding out that while NIL is very important in recruiting, in fact, it is quite often the most important consideration for a recruit, you might want to avoid signing guys for whom that is the only consideration.
Right. This was my worry with NIL. You're paying them so much they could care less or their ego gets in the way of work ethics.

This is why it is more important than ever to recruit players with the right attitude, the the days of "we're not recruiting angels" are over.

After Ole Miss beats them tonight will aggy even become bowl eligible? If so, what will be Jimbo's excuse to avoid a bowl beat down this year? 🤔
