Jobless Claims Soar to 3.3 million; 6.6 million this week

Yep.....

Kinda the answer I expected.

El has nothing to add as usual so he/she post a video.

Dude, what are you arguing about? Trump businesses have declared bankruptcy numerous times. Yes, we all know that personal bankruptcies and business bankruptcies are different things. The point remains that Trump is not a very good businessman and not someone who is up to the task of leading the country back from the brink. Now if he were a turnaround artist, maybe you'd have a point. But he's not. He's repeatedly run businesses into the ground.

When my father was running his retail business (before Walmart bankrupted him) his employees always got paid. His employees always got their vacation. My father... didn't. Yet when he went under and almost lost his house and everything he owns, his employees were nowhere to be found. You are right. CWV and the majority of leftists don't get it.

Watching dad go thru that was THE reason why I said I never wanted to own my own business. Right now, when I block in at the end of a flight and finish my checklists, it is not my problem if that airplane falls apart right there in the chocks. That might be viewed by some as lazy or uncaring. I view it as protection, because big corporations are not there when my car breaks or my roof leaks.

2009 was a very tough year for me.

I cant count how many times an employee had come to me in prior years asking for advances and I always tried to help but when the crsp hit the fan for me in 09 and I told everyone ONE time paychecks would be 4 days late while I waited on a customers payment the amount of hell I received was insane.

That year really soured me.

I had always viewed my employees as family, sadly not so much anymore.

Dudette then why are you girls so fixated on his personal tax returns if his corporate filings give you all the ammo you need?

Um.....

Hershey, Ford, Disney, Durant, Lee all say hi buddy..

So next time you watch a Disney movie such as the Avengers on the TV screen of your Ford or GM car while eating a Hershey bar realize how much smarter of a business owner you are than them.

Cause all went bankrupt.

I think the number of business he has filed bankruptcy on is between 6 and 8, that is out of 500 or so. Now how bad of a business man is he?

We've never missed or been late on a payroll but its been close and I went without a paycheck several times back in the day to make sure we didn't.

That's not a fact. A few of his policies helped the economy. Many of his policies hurt the economy. I told y'all it was a fake economy, this isn't just about Coronavirus. All we need is something to trigger a recession. They're always waiting in the wings when you live in a house of cards.

Complete bull.

I almost lost it all that year. Credit went from 806 to 549. All my invoices were virtual cards and was on the hook for all orders with a mandatory personal guarantee due to volume and class code.

Was running about a 125 to 140 employees between my two businesses.

Obama passed 99 weeks of unemployment and it sank me along with the crash. Couldn't get anyone to work. Was at 30 employees by year end.

Amex came after me for about 700k as I had a direct contract with them. Chase paymentech came after me for about 900k for my Visa, mc, and discover accounts.

Moved it to Makati and Bacolod in 13 and
ramped back up to 120 cause people would actually work. Went from paying 12.50 an hour with ppl who complained daily to paying 6 per hour and having ppl show up on time and thankful for a job. Wife wouldn't move permanently so I sold out to an Asian telecom.

Went back into my original industry in 2014 and bought an existing firm and swore I would never grow past 25 employees again. I am hovering around 18 right now and completely content. Plan on handing everything off to my son in the next decade and go live in destin and just sit on the beach and watch the waves.

Better to have tried and failed.... risk takers are what led us to everything we have. The left fail to understand why those who take risk deserve riches if they succeed. EL is scum
