Joe Milton 2.0 (merged)

Rolling left as a righty with pressure a 60 yard laser and you making it like a bad throw ? Lol the more miss was 87 the next play but all in all CJH has much more blame than Nico for me.
Laser? It was behind him and the WR had to stop and make a jump ball catch. That's not a laser, that's throwing it up and hoping the WR bails you out. He missed a million throws tonight. Constantly making recievers dive for the ball instead of being able to run after the catch. Can barely throw a bubble to Squirrel without making him dive for the ball

WTF ! Who does that? Is there a QB coach on staff? Right up there with the QB a few years back who cost us a win at Alabama because he changed the play at the one yard line. Who's recruiting these guys? I mean, this loss could be taken much more in stride if the ball had been at least thrown, at least giving the team a chance, even if intercepted. I mean, I just sat staring at the screen in disbelieve. I have on seen something similar to that in a middle school game. WTH is going on at practices? That play, that last play was just humiliating, embarrassing and eye opening.

To me it seems he doesn't get the ball out as quick as he did in the first game and we do not call short routes(outside of a WR screen) to help him out and loosen up. Where are the slants and out patterns? Either way, we are still in a better spot and this will help them understand we need more consistent OL play

This gives a breakdown of the final drive. You,the fan can be the judge. Can you see this and make the throw? We had a potential TD.
Also, Landon Jackson embarrassed our tackles all night. He's great, we're average

Prove me wrong
THERE IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way back in preseason, I predicted that the moment Nico even THINKS about having a bad game, some of you would Miltonize him. Often the very ones who bullhorned his status as Volgod 2.0.

Think he scrambled and lost where he was on the field and was allowed to be moved OB.
In that situation you gotta just step up and throw the 50/50 and whatever happens happens.
Hope the WR can come down with it or get the PI and one last shot

Clock management was a big issue last night. When the Vols got the ball back with 6-8 minutes left and the lead, they should have been milking every second, huddling, and running high completion percentage plays and making Arkansas burn all of their time outs. They did zero of that. That is 100% on Heupel and the staff. Their defense was never going to stand up to the challenge at hand. They got smoked all game long. Thinking they should go fast with the game on the line and relying on the defense was a poor decision.

He is trying to not get hurt and playing to not get hurt. He is still a pretty small framed guy who needs 25-30 more pounds
Playing not to get hurt? Maybe he should go back to volleyball then. This is football. If you're playing "not to get hurt" then you're hurting the team more than helping

Yep. Freshman mistake and hopefully it’s a learning lesson for him.

Even thinks about a bad game? It's 5 games in and he hasn't had a decent game yet
Hypersensitive eh? So much so you can't see I said I made a prediction that if he even Thinks about having a bad game, we have fans that will turn on him like rabid rats. And here YOU are. I suspect Bama has lost a few fans. Maybe you are a fine replacement. Go, crimson creep, go, don your red jersey and cheer the red alga bloom scum. And take your Vols player hating with you.

It has nothing to do with being a freshman, it just common sense you need to throw it.
Well sure it’s common sense but freshmen sometimes don’t have that trait in everything they do. I certainly didn’t make all the right choices when I was a freshman that I did as a senior. Again it’s a learning experience and sometimes a hard one.
