That's Heupel thinking that his "no huddle, fast paced" offense is capable of anything. What he doesn't realize is that there are scenarios where the fast paced gimmick is not going to work!

That's what I thought. No one is okay with losing to bad teams, just us grown adults that know whats really important in life don't act like whiney little girls when it happens.

he was a good qb and an even better person. Hendon was probably one of the top 4 qbs that Tennessee has had in my lifetime. Tough act to follow. And to your point, it actually bothers me that so many fans rip on him. You’d think he played for one of our rivals.

No but win the games you’re favored by 14. If Arkansas was a ranked team and Nico / the offense played halfway decent then I don’t think folks would be so upset. But the offense we saw last night was Dooley / Pruitt pathetic. Heupel is supposed to be an offense guru but apparently not. I have very little confidence that this years team will fair better than 8-4. The OL is inept and Nico is not even an average QB at the moment. Both combined equals too many losses.

Last night’s decision to not throw after time expired was boneheaded.

That being said, Hendon Hooker had 2 mediocre years at Virginia Tech and a pretty good year at TN before he shot off like a rocket.

Joe Burrow sat on the bench for years at Ohio State before having a mediocre year at LSU in 2018. He had the best year ever in his final year at LSU.

Nico may never become that, but it’s crazy to expect him to be as good as Hendon or Burrow in his first year as starter, second year in college. Don’t listen to the media - those people aren’t honest with themselves, much less the audience.

He's also thrown a bunch of perfect passes and had a 50 yd TD run. Your posts are exaggerations and overreactions. Plus, you sound like a little boy who has had his feelings hurt

Half of the threads on this site last year was folks wanting to see Nico play more, ( since we had lost enough games to be out of the play off picture ) How much better would Nico be this year if he'd been given more playing time ?
