If you want to defend Joe Paterno I say go ahead. Everyone deserves the right to be heard right? Well except for kids in Centre County Pa. They would just get in the way of my football team going 8-4 every year.

How is it pathetic? Obviously the cancer killed him, but stress and depression didn't help. It can be argued that he brought it on himself, but this definitely had a hand in his rapid decline.

He made a mistake, but is being vilified too much in my opinion. U are entitled to your opinion and i don't care to get in a back and forth.

If he had done the right thing, then he wouldn't have had this stress on him. Pretty simple, don't let a child molester keep doing it, while you know about it.

But he brought it on himself

I can imagine if the man had a conscience, it was eating away at him

A mistake that caused kids to be molested. Would you feel it was just a mistake if it were one of your kids that got molested by Sanduscky, and Joe Pa did nothing about it

Of course, because now he knows he should have done a lot more. He is the only one that will really know how much he actually knew.

I know people hate millen, but I can't be mad at him for being very upset w how the last three months of his life ended.

I just don't understand how people can love football this much. They are willing to completely overlook a reprehensible act and accept the most terrible excuses ever just because he gave hem entertainment. People should be ashamed of themselves.

Outside of sports people don't get the right to have their lives celebrated outside of one nagging little mistake.

If an otherwise good person kills someone or drinks and drives and takes someone's life or helps hold up a bank their lives are ruined. Give Joe Pa the same treatment as the rest of us. I don't care how many games he won. People need to freaking understand that life is more than football.

I bet you're 35 years old and about 30 pounds overweight. Probably married, but I would imagine your wife cheats on you because she is sexually unsatisfied. You only drink natty ice as That is all you can afford and you think it's awesome that you gave your five year old son Mohawk.

Essentially you're a loser who has never accomplished more than winning trivia night at your local buffalo wild wings.

Actually, I am 21, and in college. I'm sure that you are living in your parents basement, with star wars posters hanging on the wall everywhere. The only time you probably decided to leave the basement is when a new science fiction movie is being released.
