I don’t know if this will help, but hospitals are required to ask patients how they would want to be treated if things went south, if they don’t have advanced directives or a living will on file. I’ve always been asked this, even for a relatively minor day surgery or procedure.

So I doubt that they asked her because they think that she’s getting worse. More likely, they asked her because for once, they actually did what they were supposed to do.

If the hospital asked me that, I would ask for breakfast reservations at the Valdosta Waffle House.

Joe, so sorry to see that y'all continue to struggle with Tiffany's infection. Hope the MDs get a proper handle on things very, very soon!

Gonna be in for a few days at least. They're waiting on cultures so they'll know exactly which antibiotics to use right now they're giving her a couple different ones that's making her sick.

I sure hate to hear that she is back in the hospital again and having problems again, plus medicine making her sick, still praying for you all.

@Vjcvette, how have you been doing? I know you finally got those pesky trees cut down in your yard. That has to have been a load off of your mind, but how have you been doing? You’ve been quiet lately, everything okay otherwise, or are you like the rest of us, so busy it’s hard to find time to check in? I’ve got about 14 minutes before I’ve got to go to bed (a cook lives and dies by a dam* clock). Hope all is good with you.

Little update, they have her scheduled for a scan with dye in the morning. They're gonna try to see if that shows something in her kidneys. They're also trying to work out getting her to the guy in Knoxville asap.

Awwh, thanks for thinking of me Girlfriend, I have been doing well and you hit the nail on the head, I have just been busy and then I get home and eat and fall asleep
on my sofa and start all over again, but things are good and I hope they are with you as well

Me and little bit went to see her again. God willing, 2 weeks from today we're going to Knoxville. They scheduled her to have the stints removed, and he's going to put a camera in there. He's hoping to see something that nobody else has seen, so they can figure out what keeps causing the infections.
