Joker Phillips resigned @ UF

Recruiting with probable NCAA issues...??? How do recruits overlook that?

I think UF's dumpster fire of a coaching staff has more dire effect on recruiting than any potential sanctions for supposed recruiting violations.

The 1980's! That's who.

Hehehe. Floriduh fans are still mad at Tennessee because we led the fight to strip them of their 1984 SEC Championship since the only reason they won it was deep-rooted cheating! They played in the SEC from 1933-1990 with the same number of SEC FB titles as candy.....ZERO. Looks like they may be headed back to mediocrity where they belong.

Heard joker was "forced to step down" because of a 'bump rule' violation. I'm pretty sure an asst coach isn't told to flee due to a bump rule infraction, especially in June!!

Yeah, and I am bummed about what the penalties might be. Less worried about losing Joker. Thought he was a great hire; not so sure now even if he weren't involved in recruiting violations.

Those were pretty much the best pictures he'd ever drawn.

I agree. If a BBQ is a violation and this isn't, somethings way wrong.

Florida WR coach Joker Phillips was forced to resign due to Phillips' possible NCAA recruiting violations. (via @ McMurphyESPN)

Musta been all that fly-@ss Harry Potter artwork he was sending to recruits.

Your link is broken for me... it goes to their site, but there is no article attaches, just a 'Not Found' message.

Atlanta Radio was reporting he didn't resign by 3pm. Then it was reported he was forced out around 5pm. This has the stink of DESPERATION all over it ! The Gators are drowning in their own swamp... 1st off they don't need a recruiting advantage, 2nd they tried stupid tactics, Can't Wait (Bart Scott style) to see that sh!thole implode over the next 2 years. CCL will not be the problem or the answer FWIW.

All these problems and they still beat us year after year.

Yeah, I love how our fans talk smack about hoping Georgia and Florida keep Richt and Muschamp, even though one of coaches has beaten us four years in a row and the other has never lost to UT.

Our program has been terrible since 2008. I don't want them to get someone who can win championships.
