Nor do I. In fact, I revel in it. You think it's funny to slobber over Gruden? You are senile. He 'just' has a Super Bowl ring? Oh. My. God. Really? If the Grudenites are to be ridiculed because Gruden 'has no accomplishments' then the Doolanders should receive open hostile contempt. He's done NOTHING....except lose....often. He didn't build Tampa? Ok, who did Tampa play for the title that year? Oh, Oakland, maybe? Did he build them? Yes, yes he did. Selective logic. It's what's for dinner.

Best not to speak when you speak from ignorance. I, too, watched many games sitting on The Hill behind the green North end-zone bleachers. I am 11 years younger than you, but I would near guarantee that I have more "football years" under my belt than you, and not just as a fan. You can shove your "you damn kids get out of my yard" attitude.

Have a nice day:hi:....and Gruden Rules!

If you think that hiring Gruden is the answer then you're so called football experience shows by pee wee football assessment of coaching. Playing every season of Madden doesnt qualify as "knowing football".

Why not slobber all over Larry Coker while your at it since your only prerequisite is winning the big game.

Have you read Gruden's book "Do You Love Football?". Its got words and not just colors so probably not. Might want to.

Jackson, when you get the top 10 list assembled, forward it to me, and I'll start putting out feelers.

Yeah, we probably would have to create a Top-10 thread for that, and it seems like a lot of work. It would include the usual suspects and then we would have to agrue with everyone about why the Boise State Scientology guy wouldn't work in east Tennessee. Let's see what happens here in in Athens first I guess

Again..ignorance. Never played Madden in my life. Try again. Try to follow the argument: YOU brought up only winning "the big game", not me. It would be nice if we all could create the arguments that we want them to be. Therefore, you are arguing with yourself by mentioning Coker. Signs of senility....again. I'm getting concerned for you.......

I expect better from a guy with your experience. Step up your game.

Pilot Oil is worth over 3 billion dollars, hand Saban a check for 7 million a year plus 10% of stock in Pilot and a 5 year contract and see what Saban says. There is little doubt that Knoxville is a much better city than the hell hole city he currently lives in. Fans are wanting a Sabanesqe type coach to revive this program, screw looking for one, just go out and get the real Saban and be done with it.

I would much rather go after a proven Saban then to spend 5 or 6 million on Gruden who is unproven in the college ranks. We will not be able to continue our traditions if DD fails this year and we go out and get an unproven coach and continue down this same path. There is not one shread of evidence that points towards Gruden being successful in college, there is no eveidence saying he won't but I would rather go after a proven coach than an unproven if change is needed at the end of the season.

I would love to have Saban as our coach but think about it. If Saban were to come here, do you not think that someone in the bama fanbase would not kill him? I am being serious. He would require more security than the president.

I don't see teams calling up Coker to coach. Huge flaw in your argument. Carry on.
