The boosters will not continue to tolerate this ineptitude from the HC.

So all their fans are stupid as well for thinking Gruden would be a grand slam hire? You're ticking lots of folks off today.

Perhaps you could entertain the thought that with so many clamoring for his services that perhaps you are incorrect in your assessment of him.:question:

I really dont give a care who I "tick" off. In fact I find it more amusing that people slobber all over Gruden when in fact he's only got one thing and that was a SB and it wasnt anything he built.

Like G, I've been around UT football since there was wooden bleachers in the north endzone. I saw Battle gradually whittle the program down with his no experience and I saw Majors take 9 seasons before finishing in the top 20. I watched another coach with no experience take us to the next level then watched the program being sold out by an AD to another "gotta have" coach who screwed us more. Now we're back to where Johnny had us in 70s winning 5-6-7 games. Its time for UT to get back to where we were when Phil was here and it wont come from rolling the dice on someone who hasnt coached since 2008 nor has recruited in 21 years. We are not at a point where we can afford to take risk - we need proven winners. A coach that has proven wins on the cfb field and proven wins in the recruits living room.

One days once you have a few years of fb under your belt you'll understand.

Yeah, it's google. I'm not required to tell you anything.

My source is a former SEC coach. I asked him questions and those were the answers. Funny part is, he brought up Gruden on his own.

Keep hitting your head against the wall though. It may raise your IQ a bit.

Yeah, I'm not ready to fire Derek yet to replace with Charlie. Ask me in another month and I might be there...

Florida had him as a defensive coordinator. If he was all that and a bag of chips, Jeremy Foley would have brought him back to replace Urban.
