stupid to do, huh? Then why was Fulmers record always thrown out as "going down hill". Because if you're going to throw out records then we should have kept Phil.
No, I dont want a coach that was mediocre ie .500 or was traded to a team, won a SB, then proceeded to go 45-51 over the next 6 seasons with only 2 playoff appearances losing both.
No, I dont want a coach that has never coached college football and the last time he was a coach in cfb the only personal communication devices people had were a thing called "pagers" and that was only doctors.
No, I dont want a guy that people can only guess he'd be a good recruiter but yet cannot name one single player he ever recruited in college. Not one.
I want more for our university, not a guess. We gambled with Kiffin. It failed. We had to take Dooley. Its failed. Risk time is over. Time to find someone proven
This is what I am thinking too. IMO he should be gone at 8-4 but I don't think Hart fires him unless he goes 7-5.
7-5 is our most realistic shot right now. He should just get his papers ready.
No way in hell we beat UGA between the hedges, USCjr in Columbia, or Bammer at home.
He has to beat MSU and Mizzo to save his job. I don't see it happening.
Bill Meade on the sports monster today said Dooley deserves a 4Th year and all college coaches should get 4 years. I'm not sure I agree with this.
I think there's a good chance we'll know his fate after the MSU game unless we win that game. Then it'll come down to if he can beat Mizzou. That still doesn't seal it for him though. If we lose to UGA then turn right around and lose to MSU it could get ugly.
I read on one forum that Peyton Manning was being interviewed and said if he has another half like he had against the Falcons he would retire. While the interview was still going on his phone started ringing and he says "I wonder what Gruden wants". TIFWIW
