Last time I saw DK he looked like he'd been eating all the profits.

In entertainment news Jimmy Hyams is reporting that David Kieth is signed to co-star with Jon Bon Jovi in the upcoming WWII action flick, U-571.

That is so true!!! When DK sits around the station there, I mean literally...he is sitting AROUND the station

Would it be better to let Gruden bring in his own DC and move Sal to LBs or keep him as DC? Is Hinshaw worth keeping?

I think it would be best to let Gruden decide whatever he wants to do with the staff. Whether that means keeping some guys or cleaning house. You give a guy like that the keys to do what he wants.

I think it would be a no brainer to keep Jay and would be a good idea to keep Sal somewhere on the staff, the guy can recruit.

Coach Jay has a 3 year contract independent of whoever is the coach. He's here to stay. That was written in last year after the Kentucky debacle.

Q. What do you get when you cross a Quaker with a Jehovah’s Witness?
A. Someone who knocks on your door, and then says absolutely nothing for an hour.

Why it's possible or why he's the best hire?

The reason why he's the best hire is pretty self-explanatory.

He's a media darling, won a Superbowl with the Bucs, built the team he played in that Superbowl, and is widely considered an offensive genius.

Thanks for your insight man. Knew he won a Superbowl but a lot of people said it wasn't with his players.

Gruden and Sal worked together at Pitt. They are friends. I think he would likely keep him as DC to start out. I could see him trying to get his brother as OC. That is what he wanted at the U.

after the Superbowl, what was Tampa's total record until he was fired?

He's still an over .500 coach in the NFL if you take out his super bowl season, which is stupid to do anyways.

Hey, we get it, you don't want a 95-81 NFL coach is the most popular name in the NFL media right now and five playoff appearances in eleven seasons. Thank God you're not the AD.

After the Superbowl how old was his already ageing defense? Did the GM ever invest in a real QB? How much of a cancer was Keyshawn Johnson?

Get real Barb.

People like this always discount the fact that he was responsible for the OTHER team in the Super Bowl that year.

He wasn't the GM of the Bucs. Neither was Dungy though. It's dumb to compare.

Do I think it's a pipe dream? Yup. But Dave Hart wants to win. I think his first call is to Gruden. At that point, it becomes interesting assuming Dooley doesn't turn it around.

My guess is the call has already been made. I like Dooley, and hate the thought of him failing, but I have wanted Gruden here since there was smoke around his interest last time. He could be our Saban.....without actually being Saban.

If Jay came with him as OC Tennessee would also have probably the best young up and coming OC in the game. That would be a huge coup. I dont know how realistic that would be, only John and Jay would know that, but there is no way in hell Hart and Tennessee wouldn't be extremely happy if he brought his brother with him.

I don't think people realize how incredible he'd be. He would have been a great hire in 2010, but his star has increased. 16-18 year olds watch him every Monday night. At some point, UT has to get a winner. It's going to be 13 years since UT won an SEC title. You have to hire a winner if Dooley goes 7-5.

stupid to do, huh? Then why was Fulmers record always thrown out as "going down hill". Because if you're going to throw out records then we should have kept Phil.

No, I dont want a coach that was mediocre ie .500 or was traded to a team, won a SB, then proceeded to go 45-51 over the next 6 seasons with only 2 playoff appearances losing both.

No, I dont want a coach that has never coached college football and the last time he was a coach in cfb the only personal communication devices people had were a thing called "pagers" and that was only doctors.

No, I dont want a guy that people can only guess he'd be a good recruiter but yet cannot name one single player he ever recruited in college. Not one.

I want more for our university, not a guess. We gambled with Kiffin. It failed. We had to take Dooley. Its failed. Risk time is over. Time to find someone proven

Jay Gruden was recently seen ordering a Chili Burger and fries at Gus's Good Times Deli off campus.

It's all coming together.

What are the chances he has already been contacted?

And if *God forbid* we lose to Akron?

Is that why he's been in the media hinting? With his comments on ESPN about UT yesterday on an NFL segment and on Mike and Mike Radio this morning there's a **** load of smoke.
