Has it got to the point where we need to start a Dooley Buyout/Hire Gruden fundraiser on VolNation? At the end of the season we hand the check to Hart. Every little bit helps! Just kidding...or am I?

We will go until November, barring a miracle, before getting an SEC win. That's unbelievably pathetic. If something isn't done this year, in the next two months, this program is dead. Rip the bandaid off after the South Carolina game to give the new coach time to build a staff and recruit.

I love Tennessee football....With a passion...I think of all the times I've spent on road trips and spending all my childhood in Neyland stadium...Happy when they win and sad and almost in tears when they lose...Seen my share of heartbreaking losses and incredible wins....What I am seeing right now is without doubt the worse UT era...This is nightmarish...I used to not be able to sleep all excited about the games and now all I expect to do is lose....Why do I feel that way?...I was never a Fulmerite but I will say there was never a time when I didn't think we would lose under his watch...People say that Dooley has recruited well...He has gotten a FEW players that are noteworthy but as you can see week after week his recruiting isn't of SEC caliber...And it never will be...Now is the time for the UT fans to show what they think, time to paint that rock and let the AD know how you feel and most of all tell him the ONLY coach who has the star power to pull UT out of this mess is Jon Gruden...Recruits would go insane for the chance to play for him...Every game would be a sellout and making money is what its all about....TV ratings would go through the roof when UT played....Make the move AD Hart...WE believe in you....Play it cheap and that stadium will remain half full of other teams fans....We don't ask for much...Just a chance to be relevant in the sport we all love...Gruden in 2013...Do whatever it takes to get him on the sidelines.

Here is my bump for the day. After watching Bama, LSU vs USC, UF, A&M yesterday I believe we are truly seeing the "Golden Age" of the SEC. After a few hours of sleep, I'm left with the realization that we have been relegated to a SEC practice squad. Too bad we can't be part of it.:sad:

Aside from the humor factor, I don't get all the Gruden talk. When is the last time he coached a game? What has he done in college ball? Why would he leave such a sweet gig?

Your first two questions I can ask of CDD. The last question has been obvious. He's a "football" coach. It's in his blood. No one knows for sure if he comes here, but somebody needs to step up to the plate before we lose every bit of football credibility we have. I am imbarassed over the way this team is playing.....not the players themselves, but anyone with a set of eyes can see we are greatly unde rcoached. Yes, it still hurts this morning.

I hope wherever you are is as bright and sunny as it is here in beautiful west Knoxville on the shores of Ft Loudon Lake.
