I have seen several people state that Gruden hasn't coached enough at the NCAA level enough and/or does not have the experience at the NCAA level to be successful....
Does it really matter that he hasn't had a lot of experience at this level if he hires the correct coordinators?
Wouldn't you want to coach under Gruden if you were a good/great coordinator? Imagine how good that would look on a resume for a coach.... Especially if you had hopes to make it to the NFL someday...
Plus he could basically build what LK claimed he was going to do... That would be a program built to send kids to the NFL.... That is what LK, Monte and Yaw Yaw were selling to the kids.... Imagine how good Gruden could sell it....
I could hear the speech now... "I know NFL talent when I see it and you have the talent to make it to the next level....Come to UT and we will get you ready for the NFL and increase you draft status"...
There is not much doubt that recruits would love to sign up to play under him.
Not saying that Gruden will or won't come to UT, but the experience argument just doesn't make sense to me....
All of the above is JMO
