That's freaking hillarious. I was with my son after we left the baseball game early and we had a big laugh at that name. Didn't see big Al.

Thanks! I love that name.

And during the last question he posted up against the railing to watch one of the TVs.. one of the guys at our table dared me to go punch him.

I didn't for fear he would stomp on my head. I'm kidding, I like him.

Coach Martin sealed the deal, and Jones' coach was impressed with how he handled the meeting today.

This per Rob Lewis.

This hasn't been confirmed by ANYBODY...geez...it looks good, though, according to your geezer/bf's sister's mom...

VolThis...

Off topic, For what it is worth, the answer to that bonus was researched incorrectly. IF this year's playoff scenario were included, the answer woud have been Spurs, Mavs, akers, Nuggets, and Magic (like the trivia guys said). He said it did not incude this year, therefore the Cavaliers should have been an answer. They have been for 5 years straight...until this year of course. I happened upon that question tonight as well

Now back to Chris Jones

What a idiotic post. So who is anybody? Would Brent Hubbs or Jermaine Johnson qualify? Per Hubbs:

Johnson confirmed to us that Jones intended to ‘ride it out with Coach Martin and Tennessee.’ Johnson went on to add that Jones was leaning towards asking for a release heading into the meeting, but that Martin won him over completely with his style, his down to earth approach and his up-front attitude in addressing Jones and the concerns he had.

Good for CCM for locking this guy down. I have a feeling this coach will be a good recruiter. Besides Ware, the next guy to keep is Stokes.

Sadly, probably not.

Haha I haven't seen him on the board, so I didn't know. Sometimes I wish people created accounts just to troll and not actually have the mental capacity of a 6 month old.

Time to go into hiding after this post. The damn OP even says "per Rob Lewis". You know, the guy that writes for VolQuest?

Who's to say that he doesn't qualify in both categories?

No, MHF, that link was published last night. You're confirming that there was a link 1 day later.

Soooooooooo..............

Odds of him actually qualifying are? 50%? 40%?

From all I've heard it'll be close to a Ramar Smith miracle if he's wearing orange next year.

Oh wait.... he's sticking with Tennessee...?

um i mean he's going to be an impact player, worth 7-8 wins atleast.... Why isnt he a 5 star, espn at it again!!

Chris Jones>>>>Kemba Walker you'll see!!

lol at some fans....

Maybe we need to trust Coach Zo's due diligence on the "will he or won't he qualify" question. A 1 point increase in his ACT score will not bring out any attacks from the AA and if his core classes grades are in order the kid is in. The UTAD has been aware of all of this since his original commitment.

We need him and it will help recruiting to get a top 50 PG.
