Not sure. I never checked into it. Walked into the recruiter and signed up. That's why I try not to give recruits and players too hard of a time on here over the decisions they make. I was dumber than a box of rocks at their age.

Anywho. I'm diggin' the new vibe on The Hill, and I hope the new changes and new attitude proves positive on the field on saturdays. I really hope for an early season upset to set the tone for excitement.

That would be pretty cool if it would happen.....

HOWEVER, you'll wind up with 50,000 people standing and 50,000 bit&hing at the ones standing. So neither one will happen. You won't have 100,000 participating nor will there be 100,000 fans quiet, standing, and fisting.

I like the idea, though.

But anyway the fist thing it stupid....it reminds me of the black panthers....we don't need a silly gimmick like Vandy does "Anchor down". This is Tennessee!

good. When the entire team you claim to support is holding their fist up and the D is running off the field, you can change the channel on your remote.

it reminds me of the black panthers......guessing it probably looks that way when looking through a white hood.


A fist in the air means rising up. Anchoring down means to settle at the bottom.

nothing to get mad about. Most of the clowns saying stuff like that have never touched a field of any sort. Motivating the players, team and fans is a constant battle. I guess some would just rather them not try. Just be quiet and win they say. Again, no sense in getting mad at ignorance.

Whatever it takes to get the team motivated. It's actually kind of hilarious, I will most likely be doing this in my living room this season. 4th down, you're done, GTFO the field!

How long has it been since the "fans" have been encouraged to do anything like this? It's time to pull ourselves up with our boot straps and support these Coaches and our team.. people whine about people not standing and doing anything, now people are whining about something that will bring unity and some sunshine to this program... yes I said sunshine.. I hate negative all the way round & our support, whether we've liked the outcome or not, has never waivered.. you don't like the fist up, then sit there... you don't like the woo, don't woo.. just don't come to the games or participate..:rolleyes:
