He just told the panel on The Locker Room that it's all about March. Thank God. No talk about #1 rankings, regular season wins, etc.

but without any quality wins, its hard to get to march so yes i guess it does matter and if it doesnt why do ppl spend money on season tickets or bother watching the games on tv. we should just sit on our hands until march every year i guess

No, but it makes him infinitely smarter than the orange overall wearers who act like being number 1 for a week in February is the goal and are clearing wall space for a photo of a three point shot made in January.

Very true, Hat. There are, however, many among us who are pretty excited that Florida hasn't beaten us on our home court in five years.

As for March, I feel like we are betting on a flush draw in many of our games, and you are just not going to catch enough good cards to make a deep tourney run with that kind of strategy.

Honestly, what's the purpose of this thread ? Even a child that follows college BB, knows March is all that matters. Total waste of space ... Ignore

Owning Florida has been good, but it's not like it's the greatest thing ever. I'd trade all the wins for wins over Kentucky.

Florida is at best our 3rd biggest basketball rival, maybe even 4th behind Memphis. Kentucky and Vandy have always been our biggest basketball rivals. I'm much more concerned with our record against those 2 than Florida, if we're talking regular season.

Point made, even though you had to diss 90% of the UT fan base in doing so.

the sad part is i think this team peaked.I honestly see us stumbling down the stretch. I hope not. But i see for the final 10 games somewhere from 4-6,5-5, to 6-4. winning half would be a good feat.

I'm confident Florida is far more concerned about their two national titles than they are their regular season record against Bruce Pearl.

Yeah, but I doubt he calls Bruce Pearl "Tanning Bed" or other sundry names on a message board because UT has not made it past the Sweet 16. Is that "gettin' it"?

I don't like the new VN Guru logo below the avatars. I'm not saying that because I'm not a guru. It's way too distracting. I can't scan a page without having my eyes pulled to the bright orange guru logo.

If you were at the game today you could have seen nothing but vol fans siiting on their hands. It took the coaches and players begging for some excitement before they stood up..sad what has happen to the rockus fans that once cheered for the Vols?? Sit down I can't see..:banghead2:
