Jordan McRae and the NBA draft

He better learn to dribble and start working on his elbow placement.

Yeah, Reggie Miller is still working on his elbow placement. Too late to change a succesful shooters natural shooting motion. He has put up a ton of shots and his muscle memory is developed. One of the qualities mentioned with McRae is he is a gym rat takes lots of shots.

247 writeup from an NBA scout on Richardson:

On Vols junior guard and defensive stopper Josh Richardson, one scout recently made a comment that really opened our eyes when he said Richardson is “starting to remind me a little bit of Jason Richardson.” Jason Richardson, a former star at Michigan State who indeed has the same height and build of Josh Richardson, spent 12 seasons in the NBA and averaged 17.3 points per game, shooting better than 37 percent from 3-point range and playing good defense. The scout was quick to couch that comment and suggest that Richardson was nothing more than an intriguing prospect at this point, but the scout firmly believed that Richardson had a chance to have a big senior season and open some eyes. His ability to defend at a very high level and hit open jumpers has gotten him on at least a few radar screens.

Hell yes!

People thought I was crazy when I said a year ago that Richardson had the potential to be a better NBA prospect than anyone on our current team because of his defense. That's the one thing that bypasses all normal NBA rules really, if you even have a semblance of an offense and can defend at an elite level, a team will find you and pay you.

and I truly think he has a better 15 footer than anyone in college ball right now.

I got lit up a few years ago for saying he would make an all-sec team before he graduated, and for including him with McRae and stokes as possible NBA players. Glad to see it coming true, love me some RichieRich.

i think u were calling for more than making the defensive team and as of right now josh is not on any mock drafts for the nba.

No I wasn't, I said all-sec team, that's what he made.

And you're right he's not, but did you miss the quote from the scout? He will start popping up on some next year imo

I like Josh and if he can take another step next year, he will have a better shot at sticking in the NBA than Jordy. But how drunk was that scout when he first compared him to Jason Richardson? Lol

I remember hearing Tobias was too small to play PF, if average SF is 6'8" 225lbs what the average PF?

Bigger. Tobias is a good tweener though. He can play either SF/PF but he's probably more suited for SF. But while we're talking average body builds and I'll just go with your average SF being 6'8 225lbs. Were would a 6'6 185 lb guy probably play?
