I meant he is probably 18 and most teams are 17 & under. I know why kids play AAU, obviously. But I don't see the benefit of him playing AAU this summer unless he is going the prep school route or if he was a late bloomer, which he is not.

Per Kansas message board: Kansas, Tennessee, UCONN, and others will be visiting him tomorrow.. Not sure how true this is.

Rory Anderson, the TE prospect and high school teammate of Trae Golden, is playing in this with his AAU team. Said he was going to check out the campus while he was up too.

Agree. Not a big fan of what AAU basketball has become. Great competition for the players but their best interests are not always kept in mind imho.

Finals are tomorrow at 8. For his sake, I hope his team wins it all. For mine, I wouldn't mind if he loses tonight because I could make it out to the 3rd place game at 6 pm. 8 pm Championship game could be a little tougher.

Some people in this thread believe that he is going to be in Knoxville. I find that hard to believe when his AAU team's website says they will be at Boo Williams.

interesting considering Bruce is in this area today too. Maybe they're hanging out in Hampton Roads all weekend? He can watch Selby and Chism

There is at least part of me that keeps hopes that Selby will end up here and the reason he never mentions us is solely because of the whole Nike/Adidas deal with the AAU teams. He can announce, sign, and not have to deal with the crap he would put up with otherwise.

Possibly a far-fetched dream, but one I keep having anyway.
