Selby said yesterday that he was going to try and visit uk before he decides. He also said "if wall and bledsoe can play together, then he and brandon knight could."

With that being said, I still think it's between us and KU for him. With Aldrich leaving KU and With UT on the rise...I just don't see him going anywhere else.

If it's about being drafted high as quickly as possible... Kentucky.

If it's about padding stats and playing with a depleted roster... Kansas.

If it's playing like a team and trying to take a team to new heights... Tennessee.

I think UK is the leader followed by Tennessee.

Aldrich and Collins are going to be gone. Henry and Morris might enter also.... I don't see the appeal in Kansas

Kentucky, they made it as far as Tennessee with freshman but they also had two rare players and an experienced player in Patterson. This won't be the case for Kentucky this next season. Calipari has never won it all and it looks like Kentucky will lose out to experienced teams as long as they rely on freshman.

That leaves Tennessee... Pearl has kicked so many players off the team and despite that, his first remaining recruit Chism made it farther than any Tennessee team before. I can't imagine how much better Tennessee is going to look with more and more Pearl players leading the team. I think the Vols are set for another tournament run next year. Or at least I hope they are.

Knight and Selby aren't going to both go to the same school. I don't see Kentucky being a factor.

IIRC at the time he committed he only had offers from UT and L'Ville. He said he committed too early and when he got a lot more interest from other schools he wanted to open it back up.

Hope we can bring him back into this class!!!

Thats the reason his mom gave right after her visit with WWW at a Nike camp....I think he likes UT but his mom(with WWW in her ear) really wants UK. She's always putting UK at the top of her sons list. Parents living through their kids...lol

So forgive me if this is a stupid question but with the Selby recruitment and hearing things about WWW and Nike... what is the draw for players to go to Nike Schools? Easier to get shoe deals when they go pro or something?

Both Kansas and UT are Adidas.

And Selby would be by far the best recruit UT has ever had. If he were to play for 3 years he would be by far the best stats based player to ever play for UT.

Harris will also be special and dominate at his position.

But Selby is a game changer.

I really wish he would come to UT. Selby and Harris together = Final Four.

Selby because of WWW will end up more than likely at Kentucky. I just think that the WWW and Calipari connection are strong. Calipari sold his soul to the devil. Selby talking about him playing with Knight comparing to Bledsoe and Wall is a tell tale sign IMO. WWW is sad for NCAA basketball recruiting.
