Serious question. Why are so many Tennessee commits staying silent about being committed?
What does that mean? Was Oregon trying to get him enrolled now?
A lot of times recruits will have specific dates that have meaning to them personally that they want to honor with a commitment. Theyve already informed the staff of their decision but they wait to go public on the date of their choosing.
Who knows but Wanya said he had been committed for about a month and i think Ramel said he was committed for about 3 weeks. Both silently. I think its something the coaching staff is doing to keep positivity in the news. Trying to move the fan base to back them more and more as the season grows. Could be wrong just my though process.
Not being a d$#&, but I just don't see Pruitt and company being that way. That was a ***** Jones tactic to keep his followers (me included) in tow to keep the heat off his collar. I can maybe see em holding emmoff til a big event like the BBQ weekend but not holding em in a limbo status and strategically having em pop the commit n make it public. Just my opinion but I think Pruitt is more strait forward and serious than to play games like that.
