'19 JUCO DT Jahkeem Green (USCjr Commit)

0 chance I would want him. He was never that great of a coach just a decent recruiter and has baggage. If Muschamp let him go thats concerning tbh.
If it helps upgrade from Cox to Green I trust the staff's judgement. Muschamp is a horse's ass anyway. Maybe they don't get along because of Muschamp

Thompson could join Pruitt's staff but I think we're getting ahead of ourselves with this kid and that being the reason he's visiting UT. I think it's more that Thompson was his lead recruiter to SC, he was committed there since the summer and LT is no longer on staff there so his main relationship is gone. Makes sense he's looking around and why not look at UT, it's close to home and we have immediate PT for DT's.

The Admin wouldn't allow Thompson to be hired here again. They've been baptized and cleansed of their sins. Maybe he's changed, but sometimes your past will haunt you.

That would be his motivation to come here, but he doesn't come here unless the staff has reached out to him and offer to foot the bill for an OV.

Alas, I do think this visit is just setting up back up options should Russel goes to Arky and Jammie passes on us.

The scuttlebutt at USCjr is that they were going to attempt to Blueshirt Green in a similar fashion as we are with Anthony Harris for grade concerns. That way if he doesn't qualify, they don't lose their initial counter. They believe Pruitt is bringing him in on an OV to force USCjr's hand to honor his Scholarship straight up. Essentially making them risk losing an initial counter if he doesn't qualify.

It may all be fabricated BS, but I like it...

Considering we are in a heated battle with them for Robinson it makes a great deal of sense actually.

Greens is a more pressing position of need and is ready to play day one. Pruitt hasn’t made many mistakes, but I will agree, Anderson is one.
Yeah, they've got to be able to sign a majority of top in-state talent at will. They really needed to sign Anderson and Hampton and Mays last year. Winning will fix that though

The more I think about it, the more I hope this guy ends up in this class.

I can't figure out if its because of this kids talent, or because of my utter disdain for uscjr and wanting to read their teeth gnashing.
