'21 JUCO RB Tiyon Evans

From a reliable poster on VQ:

Basically he has all the talent in the world but is lazy as bleep. Doesn’t want to go to class, doesn’t like to practice. He and Jerry Mack are totally different when it comes to what’s expected of a player

Because of rumors have that have been circulating over the past two weeks I believe the part about him not going to class. But where is he going to transfer to? D2? I know there’s a lot of loopholes used to get/keep these guys eligible, but don’t at the end of the day they have transcripts like everyone else right? To me, the going pro rumor made way more sense than what’s actually happening.

So now we’re looking at:
-Small
-Wright
-Whitehead
-Beckwith
-Sampson
-Williams (maybe)
-transfer RB

You’d think a guy coming from JUCO and having a kid would be appreciative of the opportunity and want to better himself and his family.

Sometimes a good reason a kid this talented ends up in Juco… some never learn. I suspect if it’s grade are as bad as rumored this is how immature way of not listening and trying to see if he has any NIL/transfer options at other schools before jumping into nfl. He may still find himself going pro instead.

I’ve got gamecock friends saying rumors are he’s going to try and come there if he can get his grades straight. Guess that’s where his kid is?

I understand but he only had to do it for one season and then Try his fate at the league. Now that’s prob not even an option this yr. terrible decision maker.

Maybe he thought he could do it and realized he can't. I mean if a large part of his move back is to be a better and more involved father, hard to call that a terrible decision.

I think probably his plan was to come here and for one semester and showcase his talent, jump to the league. He didn't do the school part thinking it wasn't necessary. Now he finds himself academically ineligible and virtually no league potential and he's scrambling for options.

Hard to call it a good one bc he had everything right there in front of him after yr 1 if he just handled business. Sacrifice 1 yr (not even a full yr) for your family then never look back. He couldn’t even do that.
