I see wiltjer staying and that's it.

As you list, you have 7 guys who are expecting playing time and were likely promised it. Add in wiltjer returning and now you're talking 8 guys, that has to be as deep as Cal has ever gone.

Harrow coming back would mean he's a benchwarmer...cal not being happy with poythress he probably doesn't want him staying and possibly pissing off one of the new freshman. And with that much surrounding him I don't see him getting enough PT to be able to raise his stock, same for stein.

Maybe UK will get to the NIT 2nd round next year... :)

Just kidding, nice pickup. Coach Cal definitely works his recruiting wonders year after year. He's had the #1 class every since he took over UK hasn't he?

UK fans, what are your honest expectations next year? Final four or national championship? Would one and done in the tourney have you questioning cal?

Just curious on where you all stand, seems like with this class many UK fans I talk to are expecting to be hanging a banner.

I think that anything less than a FF is a disappointment. 1-done in the NCAAT would mean an utter collapse with the level of talent coming in.

Everyone likes to crow that this last year's #1 class at Kentucky failed to perform, and it is true.

But if Cal gets them rolling, they could be better than '12.

Pretty sure you have already solidified your role as the fool. There is no flaming to that statement, just facts.

Congrats on losing by 1 in the elite eight. That isn't a final four. My point stands, you calling cal an under achiever with those results in the last three years is like Lindsey Lohan calling Mother Theresa a cocaine addict.

Losing by 1 point in the Elite Eight would constitute sniffing the Final Four in my book. You're changing the definition I guess to suit your statement. You're statement was incorrect cletus no matter what your try and claim. You were also flaming.


And please, please point to where I said Cal was an underachiever.

cmon you know as well as I that call should have more than
1 NC with all the talent he has had come through UK since he has been there. and throwing UT basketball in the equation is stupid because UT will never be anything in basketball. And UK will never amount to anything in football.

Pretty much 100% of the "experts" have this class as number 1 all-time. I don't think we need vindication on vn...And OP was mainly talking to bto.

Anything could happen next year. If Noel wasn't hurt, this season could have ended a lot differently.
