Just got back from UT-Bama. A few observations.

Oh yeah, forgot to add that we were sitting near quite a few 'Bama fans, and there was nothing but friendly interaction between UT and 'Bama fans. Nothing hateful. That was good to see. We were sitting next to a really nice guy that was a Bama fan.

You should buy a lottery ticket. You were lucky to sit by the only one in the universe.

Kill 'em with kindness.

Dosen't matter what you say dude. I read your "observations" and it is obvious your nothing more than an arrogant troll bragging about wearing your teams hat to Neyland Stadium. I don't give a damn about how anyone else feels about your "observations".

Glad you think so.

No crap they have "a history", that doesn't mean your wanna-be student bandwagon fanhood of a program has "history"

You're entitled to your opinion. You aren't opening my eyes to anything by saying that Oregon doesn't have a strong history.

No, I have not, for the time being. That has no bearing on the discussion at hand.

You call yourself an Oregon fan, but you have never been to the state before? Thats some Weakass Sh**

The only excuse you may have is if you are 14 years old

1. I wore a Ducks hat and heard almost nothing but positive comments. I got a few negative ones, but the fans today seemed to be way better than they were when we actually played Tennessee. Kudos to UT fans.

2. I was impressed by Tennessee in the first half. Solid running game, solid defense. 'Bama didn't really look very explosive on offense, and Tennessee's defense was pretty firm. That drive to get the field goal with 50 seconds left in the half was very nice.

3. Tennessee just doesn't have the depth to compete in 2nd halves against solid teams. It's just a fact of life for you guys this year. That should improve over the next couple of years.

4. Tauren Poole can be a beast when he gets decent blocking. First RB to go over 100 against 'Bama in a while, no?

5. Matt Simms has no business playing major college football.

You guys will progressively get better. Will Tennessee be a great team next year? In all likelihood, no. However, I do forsee a slow upward climb back to being a middle of the pack SEC East team in 2011. Who knows after that? Depends on how DD ends up being as a coach, and also how well he recruits.

Stick through this tough time, guys. Just remember-it could be worse.

:salute:

Interesting....seems to me, that to pull for a college team there is usually some type of connection...in this case to Oregon Ducks....but the Opie suggests there may not be.

Maybe its the Nike unies.

Maybe it's because my dad is an alum, my parents used to live there, and I plan on attending. :good!:

P.S.:

I thought the diamond steel plated unis were stupid.

whats your opinion on the rose quarter in portland?

Well I've only been out here a couple years and I actually haven't seen alot of downtown yet. I live in Tigard and have mostly been south of there and east to Bend and Mt Hood. I'm more the outdoors type :p
