If this gets stretched out passed this week were looking at dooley 2.0 cause NOBODY worth a sh*& wants to be apart of this AD mess.

Just heard from my inside source. Apparently we didnt aggressively pursue the top tier guys. A couple of huge hires were interested.....but we wouldnt pony up the cash for them or their staffs. So, once again, we are gonna try to scramble at the last minute and overpay an underqualified guy who chose our program over the rest.
.................This just in.........this will be the last time we get preference over other schools so I hope charlie strong pulls a rabbit out of his ass somehow.

I am being told that the Strong rumors are premature. He is our top candidate at this point but nothing is final yet.

How were we ready to pay gruden top dollar but now we are back on the budget? I can't imagine grudens staff wouldn't be comparable to the big names.
